With lipscomb's high powered offense and a defense not to be reckoned with, it will be a tough game but lipscomb will pull it out at the end. the main key in this game will be the lipscomb SQUIB game led by the infamous #31. Teams struggle to shut him down. He is a dedicated worker and the true leader of their football team. Next year, it will be a detrimental loss to lipscomb's high powered squib game. im a die-hard spring hill fan, we couldnt stop him either time we faced him. good luck in trying to contain these kicks. they've been known to give a couple of facials( if you know what i mean). watch out for us next year. we will make a comeback. it seems like there's not much hype about this game this year....

in all, lipscomb pitched 5 pitchers, two seniors, a junior and two freshmen. it got the job done as lipscomb beat ezell for a 5th time. too bad they couldnt bring their "A" game against harpeth

the game has been moved to shelby park. game time is gonna be around 4:30 or 5

how does lipscomb almost lose to hunters lane with taylor merry pitchin? i will have to say that the comeback showed me something about lipscomb. but i guess a win is a win. good luck to both squads as they move into the tournaments.....oh and that was a pretty athletic move by #31 on the little dribbler to the left side. almost had em too

just curious but isnt david lipscomb the defending champs in the 5A bracket....i think they absolutley dominated if i remember correctly....how does this years team match up from last years state champion team

i've seen his older brother play a couple of times and i dont know if you can get much better than him. i also came to the father ryan freshmen game against lipscomb. i heard it was gonna be a good one and no doubt that it was a hard fought battle. father ryan has some good looking athletes on their team such as will donnelly(linebacker that can lay a pop on someone)/anthony wilson(very very good runningback)/mark mulloy( the kid is huge with really soft hands)....these kids are gonna win a few state championships when they get on the varsity level that was one of the duals of freshmen football and was won by a hard fought father ryan team 28-27

as much as it hurts for me to say....i think its gonna come down to Brandan Warren and Dustin Lindsey....they are the two premeir players from 2A and deserve every bit of it

I know this is a very delayed post but i think the reason for this lack of dunking directly corollates with someone's lack of attendence in recent games (aka..blonde bombshell )

First of all, I am going to say this...the Kelly Gassie girl is good, I don't care that she should have shot a three at the end, she is good! No one could guard her, period. Anyways the 49-48 score is very misleading. The Honeybears of Harpeth Hall controlled the game pretty much the whole second half. The only reason the first half was won by the Wildcats of Wilson Central is because Taylor Parrish had to sit most of it with two fouls. The Bears went up by as much as 11 points and we in definite control until the final minutes when a few, no wait 5 or 6 ill advised shots were attempted, some made, some missed...anyways when you are up by 8 or 10 with 4 minutes left, slow it down, and take only layups or power moves. To sum up, the Honeybears dominated this game even though lots of picky fouls were called against them which ended up fouling Whitney Downs out on some pity calls. Good win for Harpeth Hall and good luck Thursday against Father Ryan.

how bout that austin rogers kid who got ripped off in the finalist voting....rogers SHUT DOWN turner 2 times this year and once last year....personally i think rogers should have won it and turner and weathers will be the runner-ups....weathers wins it next year
