OK I know this may be a stupid question, but does the player have to be on the lineup card to be allowed to play in the game as a sub? And If this is true, what is the consequence of a coach putting a player in that was not on the line up card? Thanks

People every team can respect I'm not so sure the Good folks in Hampton can expect the same from you..... but you may just be a bad apple in the barrel ... I was at a middle school game last week and a father came out of the stands at a the end of the game and cussed out his daughters coach because she did not get enough play time. Dont get me wrong it is not as if she did not play. She started and played for a big part of the game. But dear ol' dad must have thought she should have played all game. I have watched this guy coach for the last 4 or 5 years .... He is not a yeller...or a screamer.... to be honest he tries to be fair and let everyone play. I have seen so many coaches get the cussings. Do they need that along with the pressure they get from administration to produce a winning team. Better yet why shoud the coach knuckle under just because a parent thinks their child is a superstar. I do know the parent was escorted from the school and was told that the authorities would be called if he returned. Coaches from all sports need to realize what they say and do effect the stundents. ..... Coaches dont get payed enough to put up with some of the abuse they get

It was a hard hitting game. Thanks GLee for the positive comment about our Seniors being tough and having a good run. I agree they are tough and the good thing is that their skin is tough too. It has to be with all the trash talking they get from some others. I know all the guys. They are good kids and they hit hard. They play hard. As for coaches condoning illegal hits, They don't. If you knew the coaches you would know better. But then again I don't agree with assisting the runner by pushing him from the back to force him thru the line. I have photos... too bad the stripes could not see it too.

I agree with fieldgoal1. The students should be required to have a physical on hand for the coach. The coach has to carry physicals for all his players. That is a requirement for making the team. It is incase of injury and is necessary if the student in injured and must be taken to the hospital.

So much for the positive post on this thread. Do you like anyone? Does not seem so. As for Johnson County not being a good team in a not so good conference, that is your opinion. I just disagree. I just don't get on here and try to cut people and their teams up. Like you seem to do. Have you ever heard "if you can't say nothing nice don't say nothing at all"? I don't think so cause you have not said anything nice to anyone in any of your post.

Im not sure of a predicting score. I dont know enough about CAK. I agree it is nice to see positive posts instead of negative. Johnson County usually meets with the opposing team at mid-field for the Lords prayer at the end of the game. But not all teams will do this. Unicoi would not after the game last week. I'm from Avery and they are real happy with their new QB......... I think he is smart enough not to spike the ball on a QB Keeper like someone did on a TD in the JC / Hampton Game on friday thumb ... that was real smooth
