  1. I really like McCallie. If McCallie beats FRHS, then I hope you guys beat whoever in the state title. your the only team I know who plays with a lot of class and sportsmanship. Heck, I even consider myself a fan of McCallie, even when we play you guys. Good luck.
  2. Well lets put it this way, boys. Father Ryan has scored 33 points againt teams who have not won a game. They've allowed an average of only 3 points against teams who have not won a game. BGA is winless. You do the math.
  3. If FRHS beats MBA, then MBA can kiss the playoffs goodbye, cause you guys dont stand a chance against Baylor/BA/McCallie.
  4. MBA had lots of talent, and they still do, but now they have to share with Ensworth. Same thing happened to us. Its ok
  5. JP2s offense will be much more dangerous than CBHS's offense, so MBA better be ready for that. Both team's defenses are just alright. Pope can win easily if their offense can run the show most of the game. JP2 by 10. Its hard for me to say but this aint MBA's year.
  6. I was really hoping for JP2, but since ECS just beat MUS, I think its ECS one more time.
  7. If FRHS beats FHS, please add them in there. They beat the 4th team in the state by 3 touchdowns a week ago.
  8. Toughest game for both teams so far this season. father Ryan wont face anyone as difficult until the MBA game probably(which might be the best game of the year). Should be good, and hopefully the same outcome as last year.
  9. You already said that. If we can beat CBHS, we can play anyone
  10. We just beat the D2-AAA runner up. We beat the probably D2-AA champs a week ago. We beat Ravenwood, last year's D5A champs 2 weeks ago. Need I say more? We just beat 3 of the toughest teams in the state! We are BACK
  11. Um in the past decade we won the D2-AAA championship the very first year. 'Nuff said. Get your facts straigth. Also many other championships that rack up every year. Remember: Football is not the only sport played in high school. Dee-da-dee
  12. We are not talking smack. Bigbigguy simply said we 'laid down the law', which is an unusual, but true expression of the scrimmage. Ill try and rephrase it so my2cents understands what bigbig meant to say, '#22 off FR is a beast and had 7 sacks on defense, no one can stop him.' Thats it in a nutshell. And to answer the question of Lebanon players hurt, many became injured during the game, especially one play in particular where Lebanon's full back came to blind side a FR player, but got nailed. He didnt get up for about 10 minutes. The scrimmage was sadly raiend out, however.
  13. Some situations are simply out of the players hands to control, like a stadium. Also realize football is not the only sport played in D2. Stadium situation is young, as FR was able to get the rights to build on its campus a couple months ago.
  14. We do need a playmaker. HL was able to make a lot of big plays on us, and thats what we needed. The previous rain made us fumble and drop passes. HL was fluent and perfect. Once the scrimmage reached its mid-way point FR got into a groove. We do need a playmaker, someone to step up. Give us some time to make some twinks and we will should look fluent. Our JV did awesome, scoring 3 td's and allowing none. So its all a waiting game now.
  15. You guys are not ready for D2-AAA. And it aint gonna be pretty when Tate leaves. Your not playing teams like Harding or St. Benedict anymore. Now its Baylor and Christian Brothers. You guys are simply not ready. Clock = Strikes 12:00.
  16. Both teams are playing on foreign turf. The game will be closer to FRHS, however, so the fan turnout might be in favor of FR. And dont expect just JP2-FR fans to be there, since the game is right next to Green Hills Mall, there should be fans from other schools who might watch the game. The stadium, IMO, will be more packed than last year.
  17. I hate to be harsh, but St. Benedict and Pope John Paul are gonna find themselves in a really tough situation if they play in D2-AAA. And if Ensworth comes there too, that will really throw Middle TN D2-AAA off with 5 teams in the Super '11' all in the same area. But it should be fun, nonetheless. Kinda leaves Knoxville Webb and ECS going for the D2-AA championship every year, though.
  18. Its definitely a heated rivalry. But our original rival is MBA. Its not as heated as the one between our 2 schools (2 Catholics schools that hate each other's necks!), but its one we take heart to, and one we cant lose sight of. You guys gotta find yourself another rival (as well as us). I'm thinking Webb, those games between you guys are good ones.
  19. Good luck with Greenbrier. We will be playing Ravenwood that week.
  20. If you beat Golden, you beat the team. A simple strategy. 'Nuff said.
  21. ok so is this thread about the game or my username? learn2 post
  22. Both Father Ryan's offensive lines and defensive lines willl waltz right over JP2s stick figures. Our line does average 260, undoubtedly, and they are very quick. Im guessing by the time this freshman QB hands the ball off to Golden Tate (which I am assuming will be every play), there will be a FR lineman there to meet him. And if SOMEHOW Golden gets past one of them, he still has to deal with #17, who is looking for some headhuntin' vengence. And I am not sure about JP2s defense, but FR probably has the strength to make steady, positive plays on offense, and might end up scoring on nearly every drive. JP2 has lots of speed and talent, but they lack size and strength, since that class just left. As for the 7v7, a lotta players cant make it because they work. Probably the same for Greenbrier. The team looked young because they are young, and too young to get a job.
