I've been with you guys almost every step of the way for almost 4 years and i haven't seen heart, teamwork, and the love of the game any stronger than I did as you all walked off that field last week... YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!! We will be behind you all the way!!!!

Y'all are welcome Friday night. We appreciate it when teams bring their fans...It makes my job and my girls jobs' more challenging and fun. LA is ready....boys and fans. We have exceptional young men on our team who are confident...not cocky. There is a huge difference. I am sure that both teams have improved....most teams do toward the end of a season..right?? All the talk in the world won't matter a hill of beans if the players don't bring it on Friday night...so I say we all put on our best manners and school spirit and come support our teams...let's let the game settle all this mess. Go CATS!!!!

ok ok ok...I know I have to post...tradition..etc I am "again" amazingly proud of my boys! What a way to buckle down and pull out a win!! I pray that this week you will stay healthy and focused....building more faith in Christ and yourself, thru Him, that you can have a great day Saturday. I am thankful that you all have made it to this amazing place....beyond anyone's expectations, except your own....my girls and I will be behind you every play of the way for this game...like we have all season....in fact..i had to keep my girls off the field Friday...during the game!!! oh..by the way....i actually explained some plays and options to someone...CAN U BELIEVE IT?? and....uhmmmm...if y'all win and get a ring....do I at least get another cool tshirt? As a teacher at Livingston Academy and the cheer coach, please except my deepest apologies for the rude and completely UNACCEPTABLE behaviors exhibited by some of our "fans". Had we known about it, it would have been dealt with quickly. We do NOT encourage or tolerate that infantile behavior at LA! But on the up side....WOW!!! to the ND fans!!! You were AWESOME! I was in awe... That was a great football game, as far as I can tell, on both sides! It was worth the cold toes and wind burned cheeks! C'mon boys...let's do this one more 'gin.

gotta put my 2 cents in here for him... Wilson is indeed a wonderful young man. He is grounded in his faith in Christ and is an example to the other students here at school. But he still has the grace to blush when fussed over so if he reads all this...he'll probably just shrug and smile then go about doing his business. Thanks to whomever it was that started this thread. It is really nice to see some positive lines in here.

Here I am...on "the" game day!! already at school...only 5 hours before kickoff! And people think cheerleading coaches don't do anything!!! There are people beginning to file into the parking lot and the excitement is sooo thick..it can be cut with a knife. For anyone on their way up here...WEAR LAYERS!!! it's already colder than any other game night...when the sun goes down we may all wish for a portable heater!!! Let's go boys!!! Call me a "total girl" cuz I know so little about football....or maybe the way y'all are talkin' is the way Coach T is supposed to be but isn't the whole point to support YOUR team and not be little kids about the other. C'mon now....we both hope we come out of Friday on our way to the Big Dance but being babies on here isn't gonna get anyone anywhere!!! *deep breath* okay....Hummel has vented! We both obviously have some excellent players on some excellent teams or we wouldn't be here....it comes down to faith, heart, and determination...All things are possible for those who believe to paraphrase the Good Book so ...I for one intend to come out Friday nite in my layers of clothing with my heart full of love and pride for my boys....and intend to show hospitality to Notre Dame, in fine Hogeye tradition. Whew! I feel better please excuse my random fussin'....if you know me...you know it's common Have a blessed Thanksgiving and remember we do have a LOT to be thankful for!!!! God Bless!!!!!

RABBLE ROUSER quote...... Also I feel realy stupid, what is this Hog Eye stuff. I am confused, some one help me please. smile.gif Hogeye is the nick name of an area named Bethsaida near Livingston...many years ago, students from this area dominated our sports teams....people from the "Hogeye" community would chant "HOG EYE HOGEYE HOGEYE T-N-T" and it has stuck. It is now almost an "unofficial" mascot name with Wildcats being the official mascot. As the cheerleading coach, I can tell ya...nothing much pumps up our crowd better than a good ole HOGEYE chant!!!! Traditions run deep here at LA and HOGEYE is one we're proud of....i went to another area school during high school...and I had NOOOO idea what a hogeye is either...now I am 100% Hogeye..and proud of it

Way to go boys!!!! I am soooo proud of you! I told you I'd cry....I know...Hummel's such a girl! I can't wait for y'all to get another round on your own field...and to not have to ride a bus so far!! but i'd do it again in a heartbeat for ya! Have I mentioned I love my boys???? just checkin' The excitement is buzzing in the hallways and the energy from the Cats is so strong you can almost touch it! It's amazing to see...even in the hallways...it's there.... don't be surprised if I cry Friday night boys win or lose because y'all have really gotten into my heart this season....i'm so proud to be able to support you the way I do...you are amazing young men and I pray you will have a safe game and come out at the end of 4th qtr knowing you've given all you've got! *hugs*

Each week, I am more proud to be a part of the LA family than the last. I know you have it in you boys to beat AE...I might not understand football well ....but I know your heart and your drive. Keep pushing on and doing what your coaches have taught you...you've got this!! and we've got your back....all the way to championships!!! Hummel loves ya!!

I believe in my Cats!! I know you have the talent and the determination. My girls will be cheering harder than ever for you. Your coaches know you have it in you....just give it your all! I love ya!!

But as far as a great football environment for high school, LA is one of the most well supported in the new region. The fans turn out, everybody seems to be wearing either a white or blue booster T-shirt and they seem to really have a love for the game. The kids are well groomed and seem to be having fun. The LA team is fast and strong. Lots of enthusiastic coaching and some run right at you offense. Should be a good game and there is speed on both sides of the ball. For both teams. Both will have something to prove and the fans will enjoy the contest. Comcast seems to broadcast the game live in the LA area. Thanks for recognizing our fans!! As cheer coach...I really appreciate it!! I hope y'all come with some fire...cause we are all pumped up!!!
