  1. I'm sure there's a glory hole around here somewhere with your name on it. Why don't you go find it and keep your mouth shut for awhile.
  2. Isn't DB the ones that say Loved, hated, but never ignored? I think Cap is stating that he is NOT IGNORING the fact that TN High beat the indians and it could have been much worse. I'm sure they would let him know about it if it was the other way around. Each year is different though, unless it's South-DB. At least I can joke about it, it's high school football. Cap, I do have a question for you. All I've ever heard you say was how TN High had dominated South up until the past 4 years. I was listening to the South broadcast Friday night and they happen to tell the overall series record and it is now Tn High -16, South - 14. Where is this dominance you speak of?
  3. I understand that. Thecatcall09 is a Knoxville Central fan. He has a history of accusing Powell of being classless simply because Powell put 50 on his team in 2008 and he all but guaranteed a Central win over Powell back a few weeks ago, and we all know how that came out. It's just a case of really sour grapes with him and I was calling him, and him alone, out. You seem to not have any class so please don't come to the South side. Thanks.
  4. As far as the quadrants, it all comes down to David Crockett for quadrant 1. If Crockett gets a wild card, quadrant 1 will have: Tennessee High Sullivan South Daniel Boone Morristown East Morristown West Seymour Powell David Crockett If Crockett doesn't get the wild card, somebody else from down that way will be in quadrant 1.
  5. If all of that happens, I will add to your prediction and say that Cap passes out from how close the score is since he believes this is going to be 2004 all over again.
  6. Well, if you want to go by strictly an "east-west" logic then you have to leave Lawrence out of quad 4 altogether and put in Clarksville NW... they are further west! But, again, travel distance is "supposed" to one of decision makers, "without regard to region alignments"...whatever that means, since there are no "regions" anymore. Oh... and your wish for HC to move up in class? I don't think it would make much difference. We've already pummelled one 6A team this past week and should do the same tomorrow night (both from the middle TN area) - what's your point? Henry Co. isn't going to win the state this year anyway. I don't see anybody beating Tennessee High.
  7. Cap, unless something has changed South didn't make money on the parking in the field. It is owned by the people that run the driving range down at the redlight. I'm not sure why they blocked off the visitor parking but it won't hurt you to park near the baseball field and walk. You're a former athlete. You can even buy a hamburger on your way over to your seat. Speaking of paying to park, where can you park for free at TN High anymore? I love the signs "free parking, donations accepted"
  8. You obviously haven't seen the South threads all year. It's been this way since week 1.
  9. True, true. And up to this point I’ve managed to ALWAYS land on my feet. What’s your take on Friday night in the Valley RebYel? I already know the answer to this but just thought I’d ask… what’s the status of your injured QB? Will he return? I think I said it earlier. I think this game will decide homefield advantage when we meet again in the playoffs. I actually went to the TN High-Boone game since I was sick and it was closer to home. How many seniors do you all have anyway? I doubt the outcome would have been different but Boone made way too many mistakes. Of course you have to take a chance with TN high because you can't guard everything. They opted to sellout when it came to the run and didn't have the guys in the secondary to cover all the options. Not sure if South has that either but we'll see. I believe somebody mentioned it earlier about TN High giving the big cushion and they certainly do that. For South to win this game, they must be aggressive. They must throw on 1st down at least half the time. Don't be predictable. Slow down the Viking defensive front with some screens. If St. Clair is back, that give us another WR option in Haden so that would be big. Our defense needs to play like it's week 0 again. Tackling will be key on both sides as there will be alot of one on one matchups in the open field. If we come out flat, it's DB all over again. If we come out and want this game badly enough, it should be a great game. Either way, just hope there are no injuries and we'll see each other again in a few weeks.
  10. Oh yea… they should show up. Because after Friday night maybe… just maybe… South will finally learn the difference between a jamboree and GAME TIME!!! All the talk about the jamboree is laughable. I guess to those that believe that jamborees are some kind of measuring stick... Stubbs is looking like the Coach of the Year, while Carter now looks like a failure for not blowing everybody out. When in all reality…. one coach knows how to work the crowd, and the other just hasn’t figured that one out yet. I think I might have mentioned something to that effect at the beginning of the season after Carters “show of force” in the jamboree. Tnreb, Cap is like stray cat. Feed him and he'll keep coming back.
  11. If there's one team in the state that knows records and rankings don't mean squat once you get to the playoffs, it's DB. I'm sure I'll get some nice responses but I had to do it. Sorry guys.
  12. It will definitely be an emotional night since it's senior night. No matter the outcome Friday, I hope this game is only determining who has the homefield advantage for the next time we meet in the playoffs in a few weeks.
  13. "" Finish The Hill "" is the reference I made in an earlier post.. A couple of SH girls were walking behind us as we went past the DB dressing room and they were saying something along those lines directed toward our team.I think they had FTT on their faces.Well, truth be known, they were screaming it at our team!!They didn't understand it was supposed to be finish !! That's about all I will say on that Yeah, it really meant "Finish the Hill". And if Science Hill had FTT, it didn't mean "Finish the Tribe".
  14. I think Cap has it right in this game. Vikes by 21 points. Boone won't sneak up on TN High like they did South.
