  1. Did not know the Plains had anyone that size coming up.
  2. This team will have a new starting QB this year. Not sure who has been named the starter yet.
  3. TT Hill will have a big year for Oakland, he is a name to watch.
  4. Woodard didn't get to play the last half of the season, losing Enoch to Carson-Newman will hurt but they will still have the best OL in the region with Javier Gaspar (6'4 350). He has good footwork for his size and can be a good prospect at guard at the next level. Losing Powell will hurt them but I still think the game plan is the same for the owls... pound the rock. I will add don't be surprised if another team in this region challenges Smith and East.
  5. Agreed! Smith will still more than likely have the best OL in the region, and they are massive. But the loss of both Powell’s definitely tips the scale towards East Robertson.
  6. At the moment no, but would not be surprised.
  7. I do not think that had an impact on the decision. It’s a legacy move, all of Kaden’s family is in the Beech area, yes his uncle is the principal at Beech, and his dad is an alumni of Beech. Talking with him this was just a great opportunity for him to get closer to family
  8. My fault, I always leave someone out lol
  9. I know in some cases this would be funny and true but in this particular situation, Kaden’s Dad is a 1993 graduate of Beech, Kaden’s Uncle is the principal at Beech, Kaden attended little beech as a young child before the family moved to South Carolina, this is not the normal situation of a kid moving up to a bigger school for publicity, Kaden now gets to play with all of his cousins and is closer to his grandparents.
  10. Possible, Coach Brooks has done a great job in a short period of time on the Plains.
  11. Probably, Fayetteville, Marion, and York will also compete
  12. Huge shakeup in 2A! Kaden Powell is transferring from Smith County to Beech.
  13. Official: Kaden Powell is transferring to Beech! Big get for the Bucs!
  14. Teams/coaches that still need your final tune up, 615 Preps are looking for 2 teams to complete our Jamboree lineup August 11th at Oakland high school. If interested please email cam615preps@gmail.com!

  17. Don't sleep on Fayetteville, Willoughby is a stud. But yes the Smith County and East Robertson game is the biggest game of the regular season on the Eastern side of the 2A bracket.
  18. Smith County, East Robertson, and Fayetteville are the teams to watch in the East.
  19. Yes definitely a rising coach in the midstate, unbelievable work ethic. He will do big things in time at Centennial, tough region.
  20. Centennial has picked their coach, waiting on legal stuff before officially announcing it, Coach Stewart will do a great job!
  21. I believe if we have never seen a team, we shouldn't make remarks about them. I have seen both, and if anyone would be messing their pants, it would be the Dresden QB, because NOONE is blocking Scruggs and Timberlake at the 1A level. (Also not to mention, they are fast enough to cover any TE or RB)
  22. ER too much size and athleticism, Pickett can win it if they get hot shooting, but I think East wins by 12-15.
  23. Definitely possible both semi's could be great games, I would lean ER and Pickett, this of course depending on how healthy ER is, if they are not then I would lean Clay. Pickett is a team that can make a run if they get hot shooting. Where is the Region Tourney being hosted this year?
  24. Fair assessment. At the end of the day we have been spoiled with two of the best coaches in TSSAA history, both HOF's. Most fans that are frustrated are saying, "well if we had Clint or Creasy, we would have multiple more Gold Balls" and I can't say they are wrong. Has Blake met expectations, I would say no. Has he had as much talent the last couple of years, I would say no. Has the identity of the program changed. I would say yes. Did he coach his tail off to make the playoffs this past year, Yes, especially when it mattered (H2O). Do I agree with his direction of the program, not really but that means absolutely nothing. Trousdale County football fans have to realize there is not as much talent in the halls of TCHS right now as we are accustom to. Blake Satterfield is and will be the head football coach until he decides to not be, bottom line!
