gc will be without one of their starters tonight probaly their second best shooters and been putting up good points and starting to get it going for them . so somebody has to step up for them gotta lace em tight tonight !!!

one before i say anything im going to say i grew up in lc but lived in gc for a very long time so you lc fans cant say im biased lol one i think one of you lc fans said butler was the best player ever from west tn well she didnt win mrs basketball last year another girl from west tn did . two dont be knocking kids for going to utm cause i think 2 mrs basketball winners are on that team from last year. three gc has a great program and know how to win and do things the right way thats why they had hundreds of kids come to their individual camps and lc bring their entire team and alot of others teams do also i know cause i worked at the camps not saying lc coaches are no good not saying that at all i know them personal i love them as a matter of fact lol but they know gc coaches from last year knew a little bit more than they do thats why just about every school in west tn uses them same plays that gc ran from the past years cause they work. and i agree with gc pioneer if tt would have played at gc she would be better player not saying she aint good now she will just added some stuff to her game example she would be able to shoot the ball better. but like i said she is a good player i dont think she will win mrs basketball this year though next year she will.and i will be sure to ask gc coach to put lc on the schedule next year lol

gc has had some players to step up their game these past few games and they will need everybody to make a deep run this year.it seem like every year gc turn it up during tourny time makes you say to yourself wher has this team been all year just look like a whole new team.

i seen uc play greenfield this year and that game was close also uc just made some mistakes.but i see they fixed them and pulled off a big win.as for greenfield coaches not calling any plays for their big players big players make big plays in big games they just impact the game in some way and greenfield had a 12 point lead need to tighten up that d a little bit if a team does not score they cant beat you but i think greenfield will bounce back but congrats to lc and uc on the wins

gc didnt play that well tues night i expect them to bounce back so i say westview 40 gc 45 and im going with an upset oc 50 dburg 57

i wish lc vs gc would have been playing each other i think it would help both teams. It will help lc play a harder team and get ready for the state tourny and not just go their and be shocked they would already have faced a team like gc and will be prepared.It will help gc because lc is quick they press and they run just like they do.And plus it will give us coach t ppl something to talk about like ppl from lake co said they would have beat gc last year and how tt was better and all that good talk lol .

i see nobody like fred ivey im from gc and we hate to see fred call our game. and i dont think a red can lose a game for a team.because when you go back and look at the the game their is always something the team didnt do so well didn't rebound hit free throws etc.players have to adjust to the way the ref is calling the game because every ref have a different way of calling a game. and its hard for a ref to call his home town team game because you know the fans the coaches the players and they know you to. and when they are not calling a game you will see them at a game watching their home town team play. and we are all human we all want our team to win and a ref is the same way because they probably seen them players play ball for a long time and they want to be fair but still he or she would still like his team win but i think they should have refs from memphis just like they do for the substate game to make it where nobody can see the ref cheated and all of that

well we dont know if they would have won if they would have hit that lay up because it was still time on the clock anything could have happened

what tssaa could do is keep it like the way it is but draw sometime before the substate game so nobody will say its fixed because we dont know who will win that substate game and the team will know who they play if they win but i have no prob how it is now just throwing out ideas

how would you do that go by team records ? i say tssaa hire people to travel across the state to watch every team play and rank the teams who make it to state like that

how i see it is u just draw who u draw. just take it from their and play ball i know gibson county has played the team who went on and won state in the first round many of times u just take ur loss and move on you win you win who loss you loss yeah we know the best teams in the state are not in the tourny but you dont have to be the best team in the state to win it all you just have to play better than the other team

i have seen gc play alot and most teams handle the press the the first if they have already played us before. but if a team has never played us they have alot of trouble with it. teams can watch film on gc but it is not the same as actualy playing aganist it. and gc is in very good shape better than most gc just run run and run some more so that will come into play also but we will see how the week goes good luck gc go lady p's!!!!!!

gc came out ready to play and they played start to finish. i think it was hard for manassas to play at gc as it is for any team but they are not used to thousands of fans at a game a the game speed that gc plays at. it seem like manassas never did anything diffrent to try to take gc away from their game. gc shoot the ball really well tonight and if they shoot that well from hear on out i do not see anybody beating them. manassas is a good young team and this was a great experience for them to build on for next year. good season for manassas. as for gc a road trip to the boro is next on a mission for the gold great job tonight girls gc fans get ur hotels reserved and get ur popcorn ready !!!!

this is a big game for oc if they win it will prob be a coin toss between them and gibson county for 1st place if oc lose and gibson county win out gibson county will be 1st and oc will be in 2nd place this should be a really good game im going to say westview by 4 good luck to both teams though

yes fussel and butler should win it it depend how voters look at what miss basketball mean to them if they look at points fussel will win it but if they look at the all around basketball player butler should win not saying anything bad about fussel but if butler shot as many time as fussel do she will have not telling how many points but they play on two diffrent style of team play but they are two great players my vote will go to buttler and not because i am a gc fan just because she is a great team leader and u never can tell when she is upset or mad on the court great kid off the court a hard worker and could possible win back to back state titles thats saying something itself and have prob around 2000 points in her 4 years i would rather say thats my miss basketball rather than just saying fussel just having lets just say 4 thousand points and a few triple doubles which thats great like i said not saying anything bad about her she is a great player its just how you look at it but good luck 2 both girls two of the best i have ever seen play high school ball bes of luck girls

i think a ref should not be aloud to ref in the same county he live in. because like in the howard case it make u think cheating was going on that is what cross some fans minds. i think it will be better that way so fans cant say well the ref live so and so and thats why we lost

gc pioneer she dont know who are because if she was a true gc fan she would know who gc pioneer is lol

what i think is livingston should try to come to west tn during thanksgiving and play westview one night and gibson county the other one since they need two more games why not play the best in the state i think that will help the 3 teams alot and the fans would love to see them games be played

its alot of good senior point guards out their this year but the best one i think is heather buttler from gibson county not only saying that because thats my team saying that because she can do everything she can shoot pass play d and a leader out on the court and also a great student as well which nobody has not said on hear yet she just keep it simple thats one reason she is so good and she makes her teammates around her better which a true point guard does also if the team needed her to rebound she would do that to but she dont because she has two great post players around her but good luck to her this year and another run at a ring
