Small world. You talk about Tori a lot. Her dad or step dad Tony Stoudt and I won a state championship together along with Jeff Krause in 2001 in softball in Mount Juliet. We had a reunion a few years back at Tony's house. Think a lot of these two guys. I bet you know both.

We are rivals in West TN but once we cross the river we are together unless we play each other. I seen you at Trinity and was going to say Hi but there were so many people there I couldn't get over there. I am a GC fan but I am going to acknowledge a good team when I see it. I knew you guys had the talent to win it, but I was concerned when I seen your draw. I knew after I seen the second half of the Pickett County game yow were going to win it. West TN basketball is good and has a bright future. Congrats again!!

Watched this game on he internet. First of all, the officials were horrible. Terrible call on Levy at the end of regulation. Game should have been over with the block. But I feel the officials wasn't going to let Upperman lose that game in OT. Macon County had more contact I thought at their end and wasn't getting the calls like Levy and Upperman was in OT. Macon County Coach was mad and I don't blame him.

Drew the toughest bracket and went through it like a champion. Great to bring the Gold Ball back west of the river!! Glad you got the Gold Ball Greenfield Fan!! Yow deserved it!!

Every body thought Elizabethton would win three in a row with their stacked team after they won heir first as sophomores and we see how that turned out.

45 can play as well. I think her name is Reed. Didn't play much but she played a lot in regular season.

Summertown is a good team no doubt. We scrimmaged you guys at our place early in November. Going to be an interesting matchup for sure!! I am picking Greenfield by 6 or 8.

I think yow will be fine. Summertown will be a test and won't be easy, but you guys are playing your best ball of the season. I knew today at half Huntingdon was in trouble and they only trailed by 1. We are a rival in West TN., but I love seeing West TN bring back a Gold Ball. Good luck to you guys!!! You guys and Huntingdon both have really played well and put up a good showing for West TN. Proud of all the West TN teams!!

Bad thing for Summertown is Greenfield done already had a war with Pickett County and today they looked loose as a goose. At this point, I would be shocked if Summertown won. And Summertown is a good team. Hard to beat a team when the PG puts up between 20-30 and don't turn the ball over.

Yeah hate that for Jones too. Injuries hurt her last two years. Good run for Westview. Hate it ended the way it did.

Going to be interesting. Westview will have to have their A game rest of the way.

Good win for Greenfield. Moore just too much and Greenfield caused a ton of TO's.

Dresden had so many TO's they couldn't get in to any kind of rhythm. And a lot of the TO's looked unforced. Dresden had a good run and a good year. They are young and will be back strong again. Nothing to be ashamed of. Summertown just shot lights out.

Kinda what I am thinking. Greenfield's backcourt I am predicting will be the difference. Hard to lose when you got a PG that is going to score 20-30 and not turn the ball over.

How many TO's did Dresden have? I would say 25 if I had to guess.

She did well yesterday and is a good player but future Miss Basketball I don't know about that. We got a good one that is 5'10 and growing that I wouldn't trade. She has been playing with us some in play days as a 7th grader as well as her sister who was in 5th grade last year and both more than held their own against quality competition. Lot of young talent all over West TN.

A lot of Greenfield people are not happy. And I think it does have to do with the starting 5.

Single A in West TN is as strong as I have ever seen it. We have an 8th grader coming up that is probably one of the better one's in the state as well as 5 or 6 more. All the teams are young.

I will give Moore County credit. They were a good team. Huntingdon beat a better team this year in the first round than they lost to last year, IMO.

I am going with Greenfield in a close one. I think they will hit a few more outside shots and Moore will control the game. I think Greenfield will win it all. On paper, they just beat the favorite, IMO. I thought Greenfield and Pickett County was a toss up and I gave Pickett the edge because of the experience. Greenfield showed me something today. Huntingdon did well too, but I just think Greenfield will be too much.

To me watching it on computer looked like Moore, Darby and Co. picked up a gear and Pickett County lost a gear. Greenfield looked liked it caused some TO's in the second half and made a few more shots. Looked like Moore was playing faster and quicker the second half.

West TN showed up today. Big wins for Greenfield and Huntingdon.
