Ok 91 what has ridge and willy bee proved to you? I mean they were 2-8 last year and one of the wins was Heritage so that was the swing game that made the difference in the record. Yes wb won I'll give them that but were the 2 teams really that different? By looking at a few different teams matchups I would think they try not to schedule someone for you to play pass tag with that you might have on your real schedule later in the fall?

This is PA's M O ....... He/ she takes a positive from his/her team and beats it to death then when someone else says anything about it he/she blasts them for it. Go to the Maryville thread and he rambles on and on about Dodson running for 300 plus 2 years ago but then starts a thread about it being time to talk about this year that the past don't matter....go figure.

After last years less than stellar performance and with the loss of the big back I'll take the Redskins in a close game that should have been won by WB.

Is that the same starting QB that we were missing in the 2nd half last year when we won because of that "missed extra point/field goal? Why is it that if Riverdales QB is out we will have a "huge advantage" but when ours was out last year it wasn't a huge advantage for smyrna?

so when does strength of schedule start? does everybody have the same sos at the start of the season? and if you beat someone does it lower your sos?

Mathers Robinette Kimbrow All these Kids are deserving I have no idea how to rank them because I've not seen two of the three play live. As far as this thread goes it is about who is the best back not best running back as Bullydog stated also bully there have only been 2 6a state championship games in the history of the state and Maryville has played in both of them so using your logic I can say that MHS has won half of all the 6a state championships and make it sound a whole lot better than "only won one". As bad as you hate it MHS is the standard at this time and as far as those strength of schedules they are just opinions like a top ten poll. I'm not a 7aaa hater in fact I hope that this year MHS gets to play Blackman in the playoffs so we can all see Mr. Mathers.

boys I hope we can stay in the game with them but everybody on this thread is acting like it was a close one last year. Now I know this is a new season but I don't know if its that different!! I'm a big GB fan but as far as I can tell we have to fix a bunch of stuff to be able to stay in the game with this bunch!! I think it might be too many things to fix in one week. I'll tell you this we are fixing to find out how "tough" we are, can we step up and play with a little pain? can we suck it up and play if we get down a couple of scores? I'd be willing to bet that we will find out the answers to both of those questions Friday night.
