  1. Just asked a question! Never meant to offend anyone! There are obviously some Experts on Exposure B-Ball on here! Of the 1000's of kids participating in each of these events which are usually 3-4 days long and most are staying in hotels eating out etc. I assume if this is the ONLY way to go then please help us move out of la la land and enlighten us on how many % wise are leaving after the event with full ride offers?
  2. So we can say 80% to 90% of all players participating are getting offered full rides?
  3. Please someone answer this! At each of these TRUE Exposure events there are hundreds of teams that participate! So 1000's of players so lets narrow it down to just Juniors and Sophs because unless you are 6'5 or one of the Elite athletes in the Country they are not watching Freshman and its a joke Showcases even allow 8th grade teams! So I realize in each age group there are different divisions maybe like A,B,C with that being said with these BIG Exposure events how many of these 1000's of young ladies will honestly get offered a full scholarship? Just Curious!

  7. We are currently forming our 6th grade team for the upcoming AAU season! Several roster spots available! Fire 6th will practice majority of the time in the Meigs/Rhea area! We will emphasize FUNdamentals as well as highly intense fast pace but FUN practices! Practice begins in Feb! 7-8 Tourneys including Qualifier, State, Etc. If you have a player who wants to play a very aggressive style of ball call! Jon Simbeck 423-435-3980 or Dakota Tumlin 423-605-4105
  8. Responsibility is on the Parents! 1st you need to realize that your child is NOT a D1 player! I am a big fan of NAIA D3 JUCO etc! The statement that only 5% of kids are elite enough to play Exposure Tourneys was correct! Then if there are hundreds of teams at the BIG Exposure Events then 95% really should not be there! Question! If Suzie is from Smalltown TN. and is a NAIA level player and is recruited by 3 NAIA level Schools 1 in Illinois 1 in N.Dakata and 1 30mins from home where the College Coach comes to her HS games where will she go? And yes that level College Coaches do recruit HS's regularly! My recommendation if your kid is not one of those 5% is promote your own kid! Email the NAIA Coaches about your kid! Invite to a HS game! If they can play Coaches will come! And yes you will see D1 Coaches usually the assistants at HS games! But do what you feel is best for your child!

  12. 2 Real good teams! Central was much deeper but LA starting 5 really good! Both teams battled hard! Refs were below average for such a big game! As a Chargerette fan I can say LA is well Coached and a very good team Both teams have alot to be proud of!
  13. White has a good Coach but McMinn some real good players so may be closer than some think!
  14. Grace will win by 1! Meigs, Harriman, Midway all by at least 10!
  15. Very Very DEEP team! Flip a coin on who COULD start! Wampler and Plaster would start for every team in Region! They do their job and play for the team! Depth and Team play is a big part of this teams success! Stats are not important to any of the team members only team success!
  16. FIRE Elite forming 9th grade team for the upcoming 2016 AAU season! Practices will be in the Athens Tn. area and the team has several openings! Anyone wanting more info please call 423-435-3980!
  17. Lots of pluses and minuses! Just don't make them grow up to fast! Make sure the Coaching job you have is where you plan on being for many years its hard for a kid to transfer around alot!
  18. Agreed! But I blame the Chattanooga and surrounding area Coaches for scheduling them! Don't schedule HH, Baylor, GPS, Webb or any other privates! If parents of these kids have to drive 2-3 hours or more to watch their kids play a game I assure you some of this will stop!
  19. I feel sorry for the guys that chose the finalists! They obviously have not seen Taylor Boggess Meigs Co. (A) play! Somebody needs to get out and actually watch these kids play!!!
  20. Dangerfield AAA (Blackman), Lynn AA (McMinn Central), Boggess A (Meigs Co)!
  21. Coach at WB is pretty good and his style of play is a huge reason to teams success! Lots of depth on that team and the Coach uses it well!
  22. Tough District! The 4 teams that advance to Region and then the 2 that advance to Sub-State will have truly earned their way!
  23. Depth was the difference in this game! Great game by 2 very good teams!
  24. Taylor Boggess (A) Meigs Co. and Jacobi Lynn (AA) McMinn Central! Every girl mentioned in this thread will all have great stats! If you have not seen these 2 dynamic young ladies play you have really missed seeing without a doubt 2 of the best in State on and off the court! Had the honor to Coach them in the FIRE program both are unique players!
