Im afraid that coach Carter has brought all this on his self,having 32 seniors on last yrs team hurts you more than it helps you, you can't build depth that's why they have no offense,most coaches will find ways to get younger players into the game but not Carter,the defense will be able to keep them in a few games but they also need to be better prepared from their coaches.

Just watched a little of the game on Facebook,and i have to say hats off to the landers,i just don't understand what's the deal at unaka i know their numbers are way down,but from just the little i saw its the same silly mistakes,turnovers,mental break downs,why are they so weak,i see these kids working all summer,even when i played against them they were the better team and we still won

I would say this is going to be a good contest,im going to call for the upset by the creekers,the Landers still need to sort some things out and the Rangers have some confidence after rolling over NG.the Rangers don't really have the depth,but the D is solid.Good luck to both teams this season

Wasn't able to make it to the game,but got to watch on YouTube,i really hope I never have to hear those commentators ever again very very rude i get their for the forge but give us a little credit it really pissed them off that they have been beaten by Hampton 2 yrs in a row.Now to the game i thought we played a decent 1st game need to clean up some areas but i thunk we'll be fine,may not make it back to nooga but we'll have a good season

Science hills defense should be solid,just don't know how their gonna score.i think ill pick an upset the Hill by 3

I've watched the DAWGS a little this early season,and I believe it maybe tough sledding,it's just hard to lose all they lost and not take a step back for a little bit,but they'll be ok once they play some games,i have also watched the Rangers a little they will be a handful to shut down may have to outscore them their weakness maybe the lack of depth on the line.you maybe be able to gettem in the 4qt.only seen the Landers a tad bit they may take some steps back as well with all they lost as well,they'll be strong on the line

I really don't have a dog in this,but I have friends that have kids that play for Carter,or they used to play,some of the things that i don't understand about his coaching style is he doesn't try and develop younger players,having 32 seniors is unreal,some of those boys will still only see the field in Jr varsity action,which in turn takes away from developing younger kids.He wins the games he's supposed to win but hardly ever gets out of the 2nd round,so what if Maryville is waiting in the 3rd round don't shy away from competition.As far as no fans showing up,field a more competitive hardnosed team that lays it all out on the line.SH should be killing teams with all the kids they have.

I know anyone can get beat at anytime,but how did Rockwood lose to Monterey did they have a bunch of players out? The score was pretty onesided

Does Unaka have anything for the Dawgs.

I really think this one will be close,i hope not,I'd like to see the DAWGS win by a couple of scores.SG is a pretty tough team should be a war

I played on the team with Paul laws,Eric hicks,we also had Jonathan beam,Paul was told he was too small to play in the line for Avery,comes down to cloudland and gets offensive lineman of the yr,also Dean Hagie,Jamie Pritchard as well.a lot of times kids from a very are told they just don't fit or can't play a position

He is the principal at the elementary,before that he coached cloudlands boys team,he also was an assistant on Ned Smith's teams at cloudland.should make the girls team a little more competitive,hopefully there will be a little more talent on the way up to help,plus last year's team was without one of their best players due to injury.

Hey king what grade are your girls in,I think they'll look great in Bulldog blue,just playing.i hope them great success in everything they do

I've only got to watch a couple of Hamptons games,so I've got a question,where is Conner J. Is he hurt,out sick,or focused on football?also from the little I've got to watch i believe Unaka could be a dark horse,if they get hot from outside they can light it up

I'll take Hampton,they have some very good underclassmen,they should be fun to watch,the sophomore and freshman classes made the trip to state in Jr high,i know that was Jr high but both classes have some very talented players

My son has done a couple of sessions at the huddle,he loves Ryan,and ryan is really good to the kids.its definitely a recruiting tool by some means,even as young as my son was people were like where does he go to school,but he's like ima Bulldog no matter what.But i do think it's good for the kids to take advantage of,get extra work and extra coaching.and here's a score BULLDOGS 21 Tigers 20 fingers crossed

I played on that 88 team,that was the worst beat down i ever experienced the 4 years i played,im pretty sure that was the most points scored on us all season,they were a monster of a team

With my job,i get to be up stoney creek quite a bit,and watch the Rangers practice and the thing I don't get is they seem to work hard but they only improve a little,their coach seems to know what he's doing,is it the fact they don't have a youth club,or do they just not have the athletes playing,just don't get it

This won't even be a game,running clock after halftime,unless coach has some mercy

Its all good the baseball player/football player can use my address lol.i believe he played baseball with hampton in the summer league,he comes from a great family,im sure they'll do everything by the books.
