  1. They’ve had some good recent seasons. We’ll see if they can stay there even though they had some loses this season.
  2. Since Dustin has taking over this is the Jackets 4th time entering in as the 1 seed. Brighton will be the best 4 seed the Jackets have faced in rd 1. Jackets opened up against Southside last 2 yrs and Chester 3 yrs ago. Both combined scoring 17 ppg. Brighton scores 41 ppg.
  3. Yep. This defense overall is the best since Dustin has been at the helm according to the numbers. So far they give up 9 ppg. Last season they gave up 12 ppg. I expect them to be ready and prepared.
  4. The way a 100+ yr program should be like.
  5. If Jackets bring their A game on offense they should control the line of scrimmage and do pretty well running the ball. Cardinal DL appears to get pushed around some.
  6. Yes he is. 6 is a hard nosed runner to. QB8 likes to pull it at times .....decent sized kid who also plays LB
  7. Yea it appears they run 90% of the time. Especially if they aren’t to far behind
  8. RD 1 1 Springfield 8-2 4 Brighton 5-4 3 Kenwood 5-5 2 Memphis Central 8-2 1 Munford 8-2 4 Portland 5-5 3 Dyer Co. 6-3 2 Henry Co 5-5
  9. Should be a good game between the athletes on each team.
  10. Jackets avg scoring 28 ppg and give up 9 ppg. Their opponents overall record is 42-58. They played all 10 games and I don’t think their were cancelled games by their opponents.
  11. The Cardinals avg scoring is 41 ppg and give up 39 ppg. Their opponents overall record is 46-38. They played 9 games and were cancelled games from their opponents.
  12. Toughest 1st rd game in a good while for the Jackets. It sure would be nice to hang 42 on the board.
  13. I wasn’t thinking straight when I changed it. I didn’t even consider we would get a running clock.....facepalm!
  14. While I’m thinking about it what yr is 3 and 15 for the Panthers?
  15. Messy conditions and I expect starters to play a limited amount Im changing my score to 33-0.
  16. That’s true. They didn’t fear Station Camp or the Yellow Jackets for the most part.
  17. Could be. I figured HC will do decent job slowing the run down. Portland can’t throw so it may be a little tough. And Portland defense isn’t any better than NE....HC put up 44 against. Im also assuming NE burnt HC secondary some last wk
  18. My R7 predictions SHS 48-0 HC 35-20 KW 36-30
  19. Well this is it....the dust will be settled after tomorrow night. Seedings will be set in stone for November. To make conversation Springfield is the only team in both regions that already knows their seeding. All other teams are ready to battle for their PO seed. In R7 I know the teams that are favored and those are my favorites to win as well but their are a couple of scenarios that “could” happen. Portland @ HC HC win NE@ Kenwood KW win 1 SHS 2 HC 3 KW 4 Port If Port and NE wins 2 Port 3 HC 4 NE (they win headup over KW). If Port and Ken wins their will be 3 teams 3-2 in region. Ken 6-4, Port 5-5, HC 4-6. If HC and NE wins their will be 3 teams 2-3 in region. Ken 5-5, Port 4-6, NE 3-7. HC gets 2 seed. R8: Memphis Central and Munford plays for the top 2 seeds. Dyers Co expected to seal up the 3 seed against the worse district team. Brighton is expected 4 seed if they get by 2nd worse team in that district. Brighton has 1 win on field in region and a covid win against Memphis Central back in Sept. Both schools were off on Oct 15th and they didn’t make it up...assuming it was fall break. Overton could have had a chance getting in if they’d played and won. Done!
  20. I thought about it to. It should be an easy win. Game may get boring bc NW will be one of the worst teams thats played at the new field. I may stay in and watch Social dweebs and eat on some beef and vegetable soup. Get ready for the playoffs.
  21. I predict Jackets win 48-0. Starters will be pilled around halftime. Backups may get a couple of scores as well.
