Since I didn’t see a thread for this game I made it. Big game for both teams. It will have a playoff feel to it bc the loser goes home. I expect a very good game and I have a feeling Heritage will pull a shocker on the road as long as key players are healthy and they don’t make mistakes. Can MC defense contain Heritage offense? I expect MC to pound the rock and try to control the clock. Heritage can finish 3rd if they were to win. MC wins then they could finish 2nd or 3rd depending on the SHS and CreekWood outcome. Both of these teams have played 6 common opponents. MC avg scored 23-18. Heritage avg was 34-30. Prediction: Heritage 27 MC 24

Honestly I’m not sure who we match up best with. If I had to guess Hardin and Northside would be the toughest then Lexington. Hardin has a pretty good QB who can throw it if it’s the same kid we saw in 2017. He was just a FR then who played like an upperclassman imo. I expect NS to have speed like we saw last Nov. JS lost key players from last season and they appear to have trouble scoring From the past I remember Harding running spread, NS spread, Lexington with some kind of wishbone and I can’t remember JS

Region 6 as of right now 1. Hardin Co 8-1 (4-0) 2. Lexington 4-5 (3-1) Northside 5-4 (2-2) and Southside 3-6 (2-2) play for the 3rd and 4th seed

I think CreekWood has 21 SRs. 3 and 7 are a couple of speedsters they like giving the rock to. Good thing the Jackets have speed on defense. I feel this game will be so close. Jackets need to play a clean game bc CreekWood can make you pay. For fun: Numbers of common opponents in 5 region games. SHS avg score was 31-18 CW avg score was 39-17

It doesn’t sound right. I am pulling for Heritage and I think they have a shot.

I like the way we seem to be clicking right now on defense. Need to bring the A game bc that offense is capable of scoring. Speed. Jacket offense seems to have turned a corner and it’s about time! BTW the game will start at 730 at CreekWood I think

Southside appears to have a hard time scoring. Haywood 42 SS 14

I expect the Jackets to win something like 38-7 Outside of Heritage (43 pts) the Bobcats have avged close to scoring 7 pts per region game giving up avg 37 in every region game. Jackets have avg scoring 28 and giving up 23 in region games.
