Have not heard anything on the wildcats this year. Anybody know what their teams looks like this year?

Do the bulldogs get it turned around this week? If they could hold on to the ball they would be 2-0.

I do think if Huntington stays healthy they will represent the west. Lake County has some good starters ,but I don’t think they have enough depth to stay with Huntingdon for 4 quarters.

If you think Cornersville is gone you are sorely mistaken. They graduated a great class of seniors ,and there will be some fall off from the last 2 years teams as any 1A team would. The next 4 years after this year should be special if they can keep their coaching staff intact.

More than questionable this is the reason I could never root for Greenback. They are the new private in public schools, but just like all the privates always said “ we are not recruiting players “.

Cornersville will have a good team, but not a state title contender. I think they are 2 years away they have a special group of freshman and 8th graders.

Huntingdon should be the favorite to win 1A they are loaded.

Talked to some of the girls parents and this is what they hope happens.

I can think of a couple former players that would be interested in the job. I don’t think they will let him go either until forced to.

It was the current coach’s first year with players that had been developed by Coach Landers. I go back to my first post on this we have NO PLAYER DEVELOPMENT. Good coaches make players better not just collect a supplement. You seem to be upset by these statements must be a family member.

I would have to disagree Cornersville has just as much talent as anybody else in 8-A, but it is undeveloped talent. This district is not nearly as strong as it was 2 years ago.

Any word on who will take over for Rice?

I think the refs have gotten worse since they went to 3. There are several that should not be allowed to call a middle school game.

May be well liked by some in the school but not so much in the community. A lot of people that have no connection with the team only fans want a change. Our administration is so weak it will never happen.
