Not the Ryan Tournament. I remember when they would have teams like Mater Dei enter. The Ryan tournament has really gotten weaker. Still a good tournament overall.
Wow I'm intrigued to see where Christian County, KY finishes out the season in the States being that highly ranked and losing to average teams in Tennessee.
The only kid in his region that would be able to give him a match is Dickerson from Wilson Central. So I betting he's in the region finals already unless something crazy happens. And with the rest of MJ's schedule he probably won't see a buzz saw until state. I'm thinking he will surprise a lot of people when he hangs with that buzz saw for all three periods. He goes strong from start to finish. He will beat most in the third period if it's close after two.
Are you saying Christian County,KY is a top five team in Kentucky? Because not only did The Bro's beat them but West Creek and McGavock also did in the final gold pool. Those two teams are decent but not any type of noise maker.
I didn't say he was. I was just answering the first part of your question for you. Simpson was the 2 seed and the kid from Auburn was the 8 seed. From what I heard
Auburn kid beat him 11-9 in the semis. He was winning most of the match until he got stuck in a cradle and gave up 3 near fall with ten seconds left. If they wrestled again the MJ boy would win. Wish we could have saw him and Kirby Simpson from Father Ryan in the finals.
Wow that's a good number of wrestlers out for Father Ryan and they still beat Wilson Central. Impressive. I understand WC had 2-3 out as well from what I heard
I figured Beech wouldn't be able to compete at this double dual. A little above them. It's great for his better wrestlers to get two tough matches today.
