Tell you what... after seeing them throw at the 7on7 the other night DB wont be as one dimensional as some may think. QB's threw well (especially on the run) WR's ran solid routes and caught well. And I was really impressed with the backs catching out of the back field.

Came across the thread and I was at the 7on7 at DB and I am a DB guy and don't have a dog in this race... but from what I saw the last game Unicoi beat North by 2 or 3 scores if I remember right. I know that is not what North does. But Unicoi appeared to take it to them the game I saw them compete head to head. Also I thought DB was the best team there. JMO

Got to see him play... that sounds pretty accurate.

Dang I hate to hear North is struggling right now. I enjoy their style of play... but Elizabethton is a beast this year and will be hard to beat if North is missing key players.

This is going to be one of the best high school football game atmospheres the area has seen in a very long time. Hope we can say the same thing in the fourth quarter. Science Hill is good but DB is GOOD. Cant wait!

Going to be a fun game to watch. Two quality teams but I believe Fulton takes it in a close one.

I did hear North lost a key player due to family reasons a few weeks ago... two way starter that was really good. Not sure about any others being out or injured.

Word is East had 20+ seniors last year and those seniors carried the mail apparently. Teams got to build depth in all classes to compete year after year. Flash in the pan teams live and die by athletes/good classes coming around ever so often. IMO

Better enjoy pregame then... Hampton is for real this year. They done went and figured out the passing game. #1 is the truth. Dawgs big!

Agreed... it is all about matchups. JC played with North. North barely lost to Elizabethton. Elizabethton crushed JC.

Hampton will win out... however I do think week nine vs HV will be a better game than week ten CHS.

The quality of the program does not revolve around the number of students the school has. Just like the quality of a team does not revolve around the number of players a team has. G-ville is a top quality program but they would not win the 3A state title... but could very well win the 4A title.
