Spencer Riley has applied from what I herd last night.

Unless the the AD,and head principal let the new head coach bring in some coaches with him or at least let him choose which of the existing coaches to keep not much will change! That was one thing that hampered Cabble the first couple of seasons.

Herd that a few of the former players that are now coaching elsewhere have put in for the hc opening.if the one's that I herd are correct any of them would be a great hire but it's hard to tell truth from rumors. also herd that they was some interest from a couple of out of state coaches.

The school did not charter the charter bus the sideline club did. They tried to get 2 but only 1 was available.

The bad thing is Jeff.county's AD and principal did not even have busses or drivers lined up for this week. How sad is that?

Until jc coaching staff plays the 11 best on offense and their best 11 on defense they will continue to be a 3 win or less team.

The seniors on the 87 team knew that they were going to win the state when they were freshmen in 84. That's how good they were in 84 and they knew that nobody would stop them when they were seniors.

SdotBears, I don't that Jeff Co.will be able to stay with the bears this year. Jeff Co. Has scored first on every team they have played this year but Greenville. If the bears jump on them early don't think the patriots have the offence to stay with them. If its a grinding ballgame it may be closer than I think but if that is the case coaching will come into play and the bears have a huge advantage. Jeff co. 14 the bears 42

Herd that lifestar picked up a player today from practice. Just checking to see if anyone else had herd anything about this?

Bears take it by 30 or more. Thought West would give them a game after the Greenville win but after seeing Greenville Friday against Jeff co.not impressed at all with that win.

Don't know about politics but Jeff. Co. lacks speed on this years team. Last year had the speed but the running back would not run the plays that were called he would get the ball and bounce it outside every time.

Loudon looked good Friday in the scrimmage against Jeff Co.

Did not get to see much in the spring. Elzabethton was a no show for the spring scrimmage .

Jefferson Co. Will be scrimmaging Carter,Loudon Co, and Alcoa .

Herd that they have had a second interview with 3 coaches outside the program.
