Wow. Impressive that Cookeville guys are so young. Cleveland has 3 senior starters (2 really good ones) that started on last year’s #1 ranked team, but I think the next 5 or 6 in the rotation are sophomores.

Not real surprising...

Nearly everyone believed it would be Bradley & Stone in Region finals since last March. Who has best chance to pull the upset, Cookeville over Bradley or White Co over Stone? I think it will take a really off night by either to lose, but it certainly can happen.

Cleveland White Co Warren Co East Hamilton maybe question is which will be the best game (i.e., which road team most likely to give the best game or win?). I don’t know enough about 6A, but I don’t see Cleveland or East Ham losing at home.

Blair will have to completely dominate the game for Cleveland to have a shot. If K. Williams was healthy I would pick them vs Cookeville, but I just don’t see enough points from Cleveland to win without K. Williams. (Also, they wouldn’t have finished 3rd with Williams either).

If you honestly thought Bradley could possibly lose to WV this year, then you really don’t need to be posting anything on a basketball message board.

Sounds like Miller may be a leading candidate to win Miss Basketball this year!

Bradley’s non District schedule is as tough as anyone in the state. Played Oakland tonight & I believe will play Ensworth (best team in state last few years) & basically anyone who would play them (most wont). Agree that Cleveland should be second (by far - not even close). I disagree with the other earlier poster who said WV would challenge for 2nd. WV will struggle to find offense this year outside of Davis. Probably should give young players good varsity time to prepare for future.

Sad. If Cleveland stayed within 7 most of the game, McMinn County would have won pretty big.

Yes, to the first statement. Monday is simply too late. TSSAA should have had all the info they needed by noon Saturday & played three game Saturday night. Now it’s spilling over to impacting Maryville & future games.

Best post of all. TSSAA is proving its incompetence by not playing game Saturday night. A poorly run organization.

I disagree. McMinn County team was there to play. Sullivan County would not allow their team to play. So Sullivan County team forfeits. What am I missing?

How long has only been since Maryville trailed at halftime in a Region game?

You may need to explain to HOH how the substate/ sectional games work. I don’t think her teams ever made it that far.

Or maybe you won’t. LOL. I do think that Sullivan was the most dominant player in Div 2-A this year, but I only saw Lee in the last two games. I am sure she was deserving & I have no problems with Lee winning Miss Basketball. Should fire Sullivan up for the next 2 years.
