    D1 vs D2

    Brandon Brunner and Zach Watson
  8. What a match at 106. Haney is a monster. Beaten the #1 and #3 kids this week. How on earth has he has snuck under the radar the way he has. Give Colton props. I cant wait to see the region tourney with these 2, plus McElhahey and Payne. Right now i would say based on results this year: 1. Haney 2. McElhaney 3. Landers 4. Payne And all 4 could medal in state. And my bet is atleast 3 of them will
  9. Individual results?? Where are brackets to be found?
  10. Guys, instead of complaining about his rankings and sayin, well so and so should be ranked and this person should be ranked and that person shouldnt, why dont you worry about the more important things, like your kid or your team and what to do to get your kid or your wrestler prepared to win, because the last time i checked, thats where matches are won..on the mat, in the wrestling room, in the weight room. Something someone like Hamm or Bray say on the internet, its just their opinion. If you dont like it, make your own rankings, or just dont look at them. if you think your kid is all that, show it, by letting him show it on the mat..where it actually matters. Not buy complaining about something that these men do when nobody else will. SO instead of complaining about who is ranked and who isnt, how about thanking them FOR EVEN TAKING THE TIME TO DO IT. If you dont like their rankings, you dont have to look at them!!
  11. Even if White Station is able to get up by 2 scores, it wont even force Hendersonville out of their comfort zone. They believe they can win til the clock hits zero, no matter what the deficit is, and they can. They proved that last friday. And might I add they did that against 3 of the best players in the state on both sides of the ball. White Station has some good ball players but they dont have a Vic Wharton or a Rashaan Gaulden or a Finis Stribling on offense or defense. And Indy was up 28-7 in the 2nd Qtr and Hendersonville stuck to the game plan and played with heart and even against 3 of the most athletic players in the state, were able to come back and win. Even if WS does get up early, no lead is safe against this Commando team.
  12. I have nothing against Memphis teams. I actually was one of the few that picked White Station to beat Maryville back in 09. Most Memphis teams are very talented and very well coached. But my pick is based on who i believe will win. Not because i dont like Memphis teams. I have family in Memphis. Ive seen plenty a football game in Memphis, Jackson, Bartlett..etc. So i know how good those boys out west can play. I just truly believe Hendersonville, on the road, will be too much for the Spartans. Just my opinion
  13. I say Hendersonville in another close one (though not as close as this week) The run game just seems to be too much and the way the defense is able to make adjustments and look like a completely different D is incredible. I think that, plus the homefield advantage, and the fact that this team plays with more heart than ive seen in a team at the high school level in a while, i think it all will carry them to the state title game. Hendersonville 34 White Station 21
  14. After a HUGE comeback victory at Independence, the Commandos will now host White Station in the 6A Semis. Who ya got?
  15. I am not able to make it to Smyrna this weekend due to work, and i cant get trackwrestling to work. If anyone could please post updates it would be greatly appreciated!
  16. Should be a great game. Both teams seem to be peaking at the right time, both very strong. I expect a close game, Indy needs to take care of the ball and not turn it over. Put the ball in VW and RG hands ands and you will succeed. I do however think that the Hendersonville run game will be the difference. Carter (Beech) ran ALL OVER the Indy D. While Hville held him in check all night. They also didnt let Malone really have his way either last week, so they can play with the big boys defensively, and VW and RG wont be able to do it alone. I say Hendersonville in a close one, 28-24. But if Indy cant take care of the ball, they may not see it much with the way HHS controls the ball on offense and it could get out of hand
  17. couldnt help but notice that there was no Hackett or McCasland at the Beech/Clarksville dual...early injuries? Or just didnt wrestle..?
  18. It is going to be between SC, Hville and Beech. Even without Hurd, the only district game i see Beech being in danger of losing, is Hville. But i also believe SC will beat Hville. And with Beech already beating SC, i see a strong possibility of a 3 way tie at the top of the district at the end of the year. All 3 should handle everyone else and stand alone at the top. As to who will get the crown, your guess is as good as mine. Should be very interesting
  19. From what im hearing, Kimgsbury has been playing 2 illegal players. Is there any truth to this? If so, why was Kingsbury allowed to play tonight? I think that deserves a DQ and a Championship game between CAK and CPA. Or atleast a forfeit to CAK
  20. Im sorry. I am not a tssaa ref i did mot realize the suspension rule was different. Regardless, What im tryimg to say is it does not matter how the red was given, he can not, would not, and will not play today.
  21. No, he still would NOT be playing friday. I am a ref. if a player is shown red, whether it be straight red or 2 yellows, that player is SUSPENDED from play. 2 yellows = SOFT red which = a ONE game suspension. No matter what the yellows are for. Straight red = HARD red which = a TWO game suspension. No matter what the straight red is for. Regardless of how a player gets a red card, he or she does NOT play in the teams next game. (Next 2 with hard red). And with the teams next game being the state finals, regardless of how he got the red, Creel will not and would not play today under any circumstances
  22. 2nd yellow. 1st yellow was given for an elbow to the head of a WH player and the 2nd was for throwing the ball and cursing at the ref
  23. It was 2 yellows. NOT straight red. And like he said ^ either way he is suspended and will not play friday.
  24. Actually the "C" in CPA stands for Christ. Same concept, christian school, but just thought id be technical
