Second year for Coach O as head coach. He was the Offensive Coordinator for years. Tradertwo, I remember him calling a lot of TDs over in Scott’s Hill on the night the helicopter flew in ). Stand up guy. Life long Houston Countian. We’re proud to have him.

Prayers for the Rice family. Much respect for them.

That ball coach down there has them playing real good. Big fan of the guys on this team and their coaching staff. Irish are 6-0 and the FearedEagle is back !

To sum it up, I think everyone knew it was coming. The timing sucks but things happen in life. The interim coach will do well.

We had a blast man, no doubt. I don't get to make it to many games much anymore but I will be pulling for you guys as well. Coach Rice is all class.

Looking forward to following this region. Houston County's Brandon Clark announced this morning he will be going to Northeast as an assistant coach. Great pick up for Northeast. Great man that I have the upmost respect for, wish him well.

Clark told the team this morning that he would be heading to Clarksville Northeast as an assistant coach. Clark didn't have the prettiest run in HC, but it was a heckuva one for the small town no doubt. I called him this morning and wished him well. Thanks for all you have done for Houston County, Coach. Looking forward to seeing if the new staff can get the program rolling back in the right direction.

I remember Houston County playing Scotts Hill back a few years ago and have enjoyed seeing them have success since then. You guys have a great program building over there. As far as predictions go, I'm not as close to Houston County's football team as I once was but I still follow them from afar and am a big fan of that Clark fella. I hope they get things turned around in 2017, there is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't. Good luck to all

Congrats to Dresden. Tonight was what 1A football is all about. Both teams played hard but in the end WC had too many mistakes to overcome. Tonight was fun, thanks for the atmosphere!

No worries I am not a Wayne County guy but they have my respect. I'm kind of bias on this one. WC whipped our tail twice last season and #20 was lined up across from me both times. I really admire the way he plays ball, and I DO know you better work hard against him. NC boys will tell you the same as well. Go get 'em Coach Rice -#68

We graduated 19 seniors. 9 seniors were started on offense and 8 started on defense. We've got some rebuilding to do

Doing good man I hope all is well with you and your family! I won't be making the trip, I've been staying very busy LOL. I will see you during playoff season. I want to see a WC/Dresden semi game, so talk those boys up!

We aren't very good this year. Distractions, leadership, and maturity. No excuses just aren't where we should be. I got to come home last weekend and watch and I will say Coach Clark has the place looking real nice.
