Interesting...GHSAA has a rule under recruiting that does not allow this type of thing. An athlete in GA is not eligible if his/her coach moves and that athlete transfers to the school where the coach moved to for a full year...unless that coach is their parent/legal guardian. Does TSSAA have the same type rules?

Correct...he did choose to further his career. It will just be interesting because he will also still coach just not in the head role.

He is an Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. BOE won't allow him to be a head coach so Gandy will be the Head Coach.

I agree with the QB position. It will be real interesting to see what direction CPB goes in. Does he go with the rising senior receiver or with the rising sophomore or the rising stud freshman everyone is crazy about...or does he have someone moving to the mountain to take over?

Signal Mountain should be pretty good, returning 8 starters. They just need a little more power in their bats. Will be interesting to see how the coaching takes shape with Bumper not being the "head" coach.
