I will agree with what you said. Coach Wright is a heck of a coach and kids play hard for him. I watched the game from home as well I was impressed with how we moved the ball, but we would spot ourselves in the foot with a penalty or drop a ball. Love the coach Wright brand of football and glad to have it back.

York will play Livingston if it’s the only out of conference game they can schedule you know that. As far as playing clay county They are rolling just like last year when they beat York just as stone did. You whine about looking at teaM size when it’s classification but think it’s okay to play up classes. Pick your side and stay on it. I don’t want York picking cupcakes to play but I don’t see playing games out of region 2 hrs away with a much larger school.

I know it happens all the time but I don’t feel it is a wise move. I think it makes more sense to play compatible games with schools comparable. You will see a smaller school catch a big school over looking or in a down year and you may get a win but in my opinion it makes no sense.

When I seen the schedule 2 years ago this game baffled me. It made no sense to play. At this point in the year staying healthy is the main concern why play up 2 or 3 classes. There had to be a team with similar enrollment to play. The last head coach was not smart in scheduling. Just my opinion.

Without a doubt coaches would manipulate the roster size to stay in a smaller class. York dresses close to 40 to 50 kids I’m sure, but I would guess half the dressed kids see the field on Friday night. Numbers at York seem to vary with the coach we seem to change coaches every 3 years at least and the numbers have gone up and down with with the coach hires.

I was just going with the radio story here I wasn't there

I heard the McMinn Central scrimmage was 3-2 them. Wasn't there but that was on the radio. I found out today York has played without starting QB in all the scrimmages and put him in late in the jamboree. Hoping to make the drive to the valley this Friday if the weather cooperates and I get froday off.

I've only got to watch the jamboree, but will say York was more physical than they have been on the last couple of years. Not sure what to expect from them this year just yet.

Schedule said Bledsoe played varsity from Rhea county. Any would a varsity playa jv team?

How can you be upset. They have to do something to have enough refs. I can understand not wanting to be a ref when you have people yelling at you constantly (me included).

After seeing Crange refuse to play in the Christmas tourney can’t say I hate to see it. Always have rooted for them but I’m thinking those days are over.

My family and I were planning on coming for a York/Clarkrange game today to find out Clarkrange forfeits instead of playing. I have supported athletics in both schools I feel it’s a shame that schools so close won’t play. It’s BS to say it’s because it’s over something that happened 40 years ago. Wonder if you can get a refund on season tickets because I will not be using my Clarkrange one anymore.

Is there another possible coaching change fixing to happen? Heard this Tuesday night at the basketball game.
