You don’t want to schedule Cornersville because you don’t want to face the fact that it would have been a few years of 3+ touchdown beat downs and few other loses. You have nothing to lose playing BGA , page, etc.

2011 was 56-48 , Cornersville was driving to win the game and threw a pick six. 2010 and 2012 games @ Forrest was standing room only on the Cornersville side you would have thought it was a home game.

2009 game @ Cornersville the spirit line was from end zone to end zone... All 4 of those games was close including 2011&2012 when it was a decided by a touchdown or less.. I remember standing room only and I don’t even think there was a parking spot on campus left in Cornersville for two of those games....

They haven’t beat Cornersville in a Jv game/scrimmage or 7 on 7 in 5 years , and they think they would beat the varsity team is comical.

Yeah when you have a group that pounds them in middle school, they take you off the schedule in high school.

My bulldogs are realistically 1 more year out not saying they can’t make any noise But after next year they will go back to back to Cookeville. Mark it down!!!

Totally correct the refs took the game from us last year. Whitwell wasn’t even close to the better team.

I agree the school board should make the game happen, huge gate! Biggest rivalry for both schools too! Yes, we have missed the opportunity to possibly have a 3 game win streak against you guys. Last time we played each other in middle school it was a blowout win for us.

You can say that, but in fact y’all didn’t want to schedule us knowing the group we had coming up, that beat y’all pretty good through divisions and middle school. I would say try to schedule us next time but y’all probably don’t wanna play this group coming up either
