Not sure what the Vikings have coming up from the middle school. To my understanding their middle school team has not won a game this season but I could be wrong. You are right the region is much better when Humboldt is good. As for this game LC should roll but you never know with this years LC team. Hopefully the Falcons have fixed some things. The Peabody game was encouraging.

Very true about Dresden. Lake County will be very dangerous come playoff time. Like I said who comes out of the west will be battle tested. The team out of Memphis is the great unknown. They are killing everyone on their schedule but absolutely do not play anyone. They may comeback to haught them in the playoffs.

No doubt City will be ready when the time comes but the west is loaded and it will be tough for anyone to run that gauntlet. Whoever comes out of the west will be battled tested. I watched the City and McKenzie game last year and just seemed to me that McKenzie was just a tad better and were better coached team last year. I think it would be an absolute war if the two square of this year. There is another team out west called Dresden that will give somebody fits in the playoffs also.

City is difinately a real good team but they were not winning a gold ball in 2019. As for last year the McKenzie team was just tad bit better. City is one of the favorites to get to Chattanooga out of the west but McKenzie is loaded and will be a very tough out.plus City will have to play the quarterfinals and semifinals on the road. Difinately a tall task. City may have the best team in 1A but there is alot more football to be played and the west is loaded.

Halls is better than they have been. West Carroll does not need to overlook them. I cannot figure WC out. Give up 7pts to Humboldt and 48 to So. Fulton.

Feel like West Carroll will win this game but it will be closer than most think. I am still trying to figure out WC gave up 48 to So. Fulton.

LC will more than likely have to deal with MASE. Heck that might run through all of us in rural West Tennessee. I just don't understand the TSSAA alowing Memphis schools to continue to get away with these things. See Memphis East in basketball, FreedomPrep and Tresvenant and few years ago in football and there has been many others through the years.

You have a very valid point and you are right about some of them getting payback. My point is there is alot more good police officers than bad and most try to do their difficult jobs to best of their abilities.

Very true statement. There difinately problems in our country. The media always shows the bad with the police but never show the good. Narrative has been set for us. I am not going to get into a political debate on a football site but I much rather have the boys and girls in blue doing their job than a lawless nation. Most people not all but most when they encounter the police are usually committing crimes. Look a prison system and most are in prison for violent crimes such as murder, rape and offense against the elderly and the young. I commend the boys and girls in blue for doing this thankless, underpaid job. Like I said there are bad cops who do terrible things and should be dealt with in a harsh matter but that is a very small number compared to all the police officers in this country. We will just have agree to disagree.

I agree that 99% of the police officers are good and try to do the right thing. I agree that there are bad cops but that should not reflect on the good cops. The men and women who are cops but their lives on the line everyday to protect and serve their communities. Yes, there are bad cops but there are bad people at every job so should that reflect on all the good people at that job? Anyway if the situation is true then the police officer should be dealt with.

I know this is a high school web site but I want to give the young guys some love. LC has played a brutal schedule for a school there size. LC only has 22 players so depth is a major problem. Most of LC kids goes both ways. LC only has 5 8th graders, 6 7th graders and the rest are 6th graders. The Falcons have a 1 and 3 record but have been in every game at the half. LC wears down in the 2nd half do to no depth. LC has alot of speed in the skill postions. LC has to play schools much bigger in enrollment because schools their size simply will not schedule. I know for a fact that LC has reached out to several schools their size and nobody will play. LC is much better than their record would indicate. I truly believe that is why LC usually has a strong high school program do to competition that they have to play. Thanks for giving these young men some exposure. Many might not appreciate it but I most certainly do. Keep up the great work. As for the high school game I think TCA is fighting an uphill battle. This UC team reminds me alot of their 2014 team. That team in my opinion is the best UC team in their school history. I have been watching football since 1977. That's is as far back as I can remember. Good luck to both teams hoping for a good clean football game with no injuries.

Lake County also had 2 starters out. LC will be tough out in November as will the tide.

The 2016 Dresden team was much better than this Dresden team. This Dresden team is good, tough and gritty but the 2016 had way more talent. That is like saying the 2020 Lake County team was better than the 2019 team.

I remember that game really well. The whole field had at least 2 inches of water on it and everything else was dry. They wanted to slow LC down and accomplished their agenda.

I know UC will not overlook anyone. It's just my opinion. UC has the look of the 2013 and 2014 team. Imo UC best team was 2014. UC has that look and I think UC is better defensively than they have been since the 2014 year. Defense wins championships and UC has a great one.

Yes sir I remember them all. I can remember all the way back to 1977. That was LC first championship appearance. Unfortunately we had to play Alcoa. I can remember just about all of the Falcons seasons from 77 to now. Perhaps the best LC game that I witnessed was in 77 in the semifinals against Westmoreland. The Falcons won 7 to 5 and blocked at 20 yard field goal on the last play of the game. I have witnessed many great LC games over the years and hope to witness many more.

This game will be a great game. The game last year was a good one that West Carroll pulled out. The Moon kid put West Carroll on his back in this game last year. He graduated and I am interested to see if West Carroll has anybody this year that can do the same. To me last year the Humboldt quarterback made them go. He think he also graduated. Does the Vikings have that guy who can make them go.

IMO Union City is the best 2A in the state. Riverside or Forrest will play them in the semifinals. Also don't discount Huntingdon.

Lake County has lost several 1st and 2nd round games in their history. Most all schools have lost games in the first and 2nd round. The Falcons also have alot success in the playoffs.
