  1. I've seen em both, Kingston should win easy
  2. Seems like there's a million different scenarios for the 3rd and 4th seed between Stone, DeKalb and Cumberland County. How does everybody see it playing out?
  3. Graduated in May so not anymore. That game was fun for sure. Even though we lost. Haha
  4. Yep, shot it for the Morgan County News. Only snagged a few of Greenback because they happened to be right in front of me. Haha.
  5. Here's my game photos if anybody is interested. Lol https://flic.kr/s/aHsm8TQfdN
  6. Actually Ambassador you're thinking of my dad I believe. His name on here is Goosevol. Funny story, I'm a professional sports photographer now. Lol. Talk about following in the footsteps
  7. I've seen Pigeon Forge and they have a dang good running back. I think Kingston is better up front & can beat them. Idk about GP though
  8. I'll be one of the 10 or so people on the sidelines with a big ole camera. Haha.
  9. I am the sports editor for the newspaper in Crossville but I will be taking Thursday night off just to photograph this game. Lol. Been looking forward to it all year.
  10. That Macon Co. quarterback is something else. Lives up to the hype for sure
  11. I cover sports in Cumberland County and worked in Roane last season so I can hopefully give a good scouting report on the Panthers. Haha. Stone has been night & day this season. Dropped their week one contest to East Ridge 35-14. Three turnovers inside their own 30. Weeks two-four they were rolling, beating Scott 21-14, DeKalb County 38-16 and Walker Valley in a 62-55 shootout. Last week, Livingston shut them out 38-0. First time Stone has lost more than one regular season game since 2014. Stone is physical, runs the Wing-T, and has multiple backs that have had a 100+ yard rushing game this season. Quarterback can fly too. As for who will win, your guess is as good as mine. I'm looking forward to this matchup.
  12. York is huge & physical. A team of farm boys pretty much. They have an animal at running back in Ethan Probst (36). Kid looks like a big ole fullback but moves great and isn't scared to run somebody over. Fans who like old school, physical football will love this matchup. If I had to pick a winner I'd take York, but wouldn't be surprised at all if Oneida leaves with a win.
  13. York's secondary was average at best. That alone gets Coalfield the win in my opinion.
  14. York has a nice running back in Ethan Probst (36). They're super physical but I didn't see anything that told me they can beat Coalfield. Jackets by 28
  15. Two very similar teams, should be a good one.
  16. They have a lot of speed. Work a lot out of the gun. Had a Mr. Football running back last year. They return a pretty good quarterback and linebacker
  17. Coalfield is at Stone Memorial tomorrow (Tuesday)
  18. Can't wait to see how the season plays out. A lot of crazy things can happen between now and mid-February.
  19. Wartburg with a huge win at Oakdale on Tuesday. Winner of the rematch will win the district (as long as neither team slips up between now and then), and Wartburg will have the upper hand with home court advantage. Huge implications for the district tournament. Neither team wants to see Coalfield in the semis.
  20. Can anybody post the district rankings as of Monday? The top is a jumbled mess.
  21. Wish I would've been at the Coalfield-OS game, but I got to watch Meigs have their way with Midway. The life of a sports reporter. Haha
  22. Harriman at Grace AND Wartburg at Oakdale on the same night
  23. I usually get told in the morning what game I'm covering that evening. I've got Kingston & Oliver Springs the most, so there's a chance I'll get them
  24. Having an 1800+ and a 2000+ point scorer on the same team for three years definitely makes the job easier. Haha.
