ER is only team that can match Marion’s athletes in East. Marion is the better team and better up front but it depends on which team shows up. If Marion can jump on ER they will lay down and take it. ER has had a lot of issues but are showing signs they may have figured things out. I am calling it now. The winner of this game represents the East in Chattanooga. I am just keeping it real

You’re also the one that indicates you really should be the one calling plays and so critical of coaching week to week. Good news is you will have alot in common with ER this week. Both fan bases are extremely critical of coaching. Pretty sure you already said you thought you matched up well with ER so it sounds like the hay is already in the barn. I’m just keeping it real

This game was closer than expected. Sounds like Marion slept walked through the first half. They better show up next week but then again ER better as well. Both teams look great when they want them flat at other times. I’m just keeping it real

We can agree to disagree then. Marion has 4 guys that can take it to the house at any time and they have another kid that looks to be better than them all but is younger. They did not have the amount of skill then that they have now. 16 they had the Saylors kid. The QB in 15 was the difference maker and honestly don’t recall Saylors that year at all. . 14 was the FB and not much else. Those teams also played at a crazy pace offensively that helped give them an advantage against defenses. If Marion plays up to their potential they will make a believer out of you before it’s all said and done. Fayettevilles record in the district is fooling everyone. Don’t let last year underachieving fool you. Marion has a very talented and good ball team. I’m just keeping it real

This could be a trap game for Union City. Best round 1 game in1A by a large margin. I’m just keeping it real

These kids getting eligible is why all kids in state will be eligible soon. Tssaa can’t make exceptions for those then not allow others to use same language and get granted eligibility. Those kids didn’t move and Freedom still has a team. Transfer rule will change soon enough. I’m just keeping it real

I think we have a good chance to see Moore County vs South Pitt in Championship. However if Mase is consistent week to week enough to get to the big show South Pitt won’t have nothing for them. I’m just keeping it real. Mase has the most talent of ANY 1A & 2A school. The West is going to be about consistency and that’s not something Mase has had to do all year with their schedule. Talent alone doesn’t win it. I’m just keeping it real

2A in East is Marion unless Smith can control clock and keep offense off field. York is scrappy but Smith County light. Fayetteville & ER have plenty of weapons but are undisciplined and not consistent enough to get it down when it matters. 2A West is toss up between Riverside & Huntingdon. Milan is similar situation to ER. I like Marion to win it if they can get there. Otherwise I will take Riverside as Champion against rest of the field. I’m just keeping it real

Better overall skill players than in 14-16. I been saying it and will continue to say it. Now those teams might’ve had better coaching but the talent is here and now. Marion and the staff look to be hitting their stride when it matters most. Warriors make another statement 41-7 and shut their own fans up again. I’m just keeping it real

Marion kinfolks still consumed with South Pitt in here. Not sure why folks on here always want to compare to South Pitt. Marion’s program has a way to go before it’s worth having that conversation. Focus on MC kinfolks. You guys have a golden opportunity. Don’t choke it away worrying about irrelevant stuff and teams you don’t play. Y’all play 1 bad game even in a loss and you turn on yourselves and the coaches. Attitude starts at home and from the top. As for tonight I THINK Marion has turned a page and started playing up to what they are capable of but I’ve thought that earlier in the year too. I am calling it now. Them Marion boys playing up to their potential tonight kinfolks! Hope this opens their fans eyes to what I’ve been saying and seeing. Offense looks like they have found their groove. I’m just keeping it real

Yeah Kinfolk I watched all 3 of those teams those years in state. Should have won it in 15 (I think) just bad luck. I don’t even remember the Saylors kid playing much in 2014 or 15 if I’m being completely honest. I don’t recall a gamebreaker at Wings those years. 1 of them was fast and a great return man but neither brought to the table what you have in #4 now. Pretty sure one of wings was Zeman kid. Saylors in 2016 didn’t even bring to the table what you have in #4 if I am being real. Now I only watched those teams those years in the state games so it is a small sample size but I stand by what I said. Y’all have a lot of great looking kids. I’m just keeping it real

Y’all need to stop worrying about Mr Football and worry about the only ball that matters. The Gold one. Oh and he is not the best 1A player ever. I’m just keeping it real

Kinfolk yeah I watched those teams and they were good but athlete for athlete and size I disagree. The Saylors kid was good but he wasn’t #4 when those teams were in state. Yalls fullback on the 1st team was good too but he was all you had and #3 to me is just as good imo but I’m basing just what I saw at state. Those teams then maybe were more physical but that stuff is taught. Kids aren’t just born with it. Y’all are as talented and overall have more athletes and size. No what y’all do with it is a different story. Your backup RB 13 would start on those teams. Little man can fly kinfolk. It’s really irrelevant I guess. This team tries to open it up more and throw the ball which should make offense more dynamic than those previous teams but are they as tough? I can’t answer that yet but seems like they are answering the bell so far. Those teams just ran WingT too so maybe I’m biased because I’m a fan of a modern offense. I’m just keeping it real

More talent on this Marion team than the 3 teams y’all had when you went to State. More size and more speed. We don’t have to sugar coat the truth just in case of failure. If a team goes undefeated then they are loaded. If a team struggles and goes .500 then they are young or just not that talented? Coaching matters kinfolk. Seems Marion’s has gotten a lot better in 1 year already. Hopefully that continues and y’all take care of business but a blind man can watch Marion and see all athletes all over the field. I’m just keeping it real Marion by 14 tonight!
