Based on who I've talked to I think they are trying to get a teaching position open for the top choice and that's why it's a taking a little longer. If that doesn't happen it will be offered to the person that is certified for the position they have open.

I believe it will come down to what teaching job gets approved as to who gets the job. Anyone know what Parrott teaches?

AAA coach not in the Knoxville area, a D2-A coach and an asst coach with past HC experience.

Two are local HS coaches and one is a college coach. If those are the same three I'm thinking of all 3 would be great for sure.

Jared is a good guy... the other two coaches would be grand slam hires.

You can't have Concord Christian or a First Baptist Academy playing in the same district as McCallie or Baylor. How is a school with 70-80 boys going to compete with a school with 1,000 boys? Even though D II AA is small, those or some incredible teams... really good basketball.

I've heard Concord might not have football next year so this would make sense.

That's not even close to accurate; that's like saying all public schools are going to have the talent of Bearden or Fulton every year. There are only a couple of McCallie's.

Heritage going to have a tougher time in the district with Burnett transferring to Webb...

BA probably has the best coach in the state so that's a big plus for them.

CAK and Catholic are both state tournament level teams... will come down to a little bit of luck as to who wins the district... will be great games as usual between the two.

Colt Narramore at Kingston does a fantastic job, Kevin Windle at WB. The coach at Scott Co is really good just no talent. Grainger County has a really good coach as well.

Alcoa is always tough too even if their record isn't that good.

I don't know if there are three better teams in a AA region next year than CAK, Catholic and Fulton. All three (even last year) are state tournament level teams.
