weird non sports question for you.........I have a son going to school in Knoxville. He needs some brake work (and a couple of other small things) done on his car and it's going to be Christmas before he's home. Do you know any good mechanics in the Knoxvill area? It's a German car.

USJ was out coached all game......and if the USJ starters hadn't played past halftime before now, that's on their coaching staff for not scheduling opponets in the early season. Funny how both FCA and now USJ think a rematch would generate a different result. This is an obvious down year for Webb and BGA but the other teams just can't take advantage of it.

If BGA doesn't play better then that have, they'll lose tonight. Hopefully the week off gave them time to work out their problems.

No, my son graduated from BGA a couple years ago. I have two that will be in middle/high school at the same time so the thought of paying $50k a year is tough. We are weighing all our options at the moment.

Need to bounce something off all TN high school volleyball fans/parents but especially the Mid Tenn folks. I have a middle school aged daughter who loves volleyball and has been physically gifted. She plays travel and has been on the 1 team every year she's played. We are moving but staying in Williamson county. Here's my question: If everything between Brentwood, Centennial, Franklin, and Ravenwood high schools were the same (academics, location, teachers), what high school would you want your daughter to attend based on the current volleyball program and its future 5-7 years down the road? I know this is very subjective and will generate opinionated replies but thats what I want to hear..........Thanks in advance

2 of the top teams in Div II. This matchup will go a long way in determing the Div II champion. One of these two teams or MBA will win the title. I'm personally pulling for the boys on the river.

Colleges do not recruit high schools for soccer and we all know that. The question of "should college bound vball players play high school vball" came up on the vball board.......the same could be asked about high school soccer. Does high school soccer help or hurt the players development?

Not as good as last year. Both lines are down. Skilled positions are very good. BGA can win in a shootout...not sure if they win in a defensive battle.

I could be wrong but I don't think anyone said the pubilcs lack organization.....on the contrary, the publics organized fairly well to spilt publics and privates. As for "unfounded"....the TSSAA clearly stated in their meeting a couple months ago that the privates dominate the publics. So that statement is 100% correct.

Whats the best game this week in Div II? Looks like a lot of out of conference games. Nothing looks very exciting unless you have a dog in the hunt.
