SS I’m not sure what drug this guy is on, but I’ll say this about SD. They were well prepared and had answers for almost everything we did in all three phases of the game. We did not prepare as well as we should have, TRUST ME. But my hats off to South Doyle, they made the plays when they had to. That will be one heck of a game tomorrow them vs OR. I could go either way honestly.

JC needs a HC who’s gonna actually invest time in his team instead of other endeavors. I’ve heard stories of some things going on up there. It’s all quite astonishing really. They definitely don’t have the players like they used to, but no reason they can’t be a playoff contender every year with the right HC and staff.

Agreed Dawg, there’s not much to say. I knew in my heart SD would have to run Wildcat to beat us. No way they could beat us with that QB, so why not line up and grind out 3-4 yards a carry? It’s just smart football, and sadly we didn’t prepare for it. It’s been a rough year for us, lots of problems. I’ll miss these Seniors because they did and meant so much to our program. The Fortner’s are my friends so obviously I’ll miss them. There’s gonna be some changes I see coming at Central next year....

Tough to say Dawg. We have a young Freshman who has unbelievable arm talent but he’s short, very short. He started most of our JV games struggled at first but really came on late. We also have two FR RBs who will be STUDS in the future. All that being said, TRUST me there’s no replacing Kalib and Liam. Those two are literally the type of players who can change a game. Teams have to specifically plan around them, something most teams don’t have. To say they will be missed is an understatement, and it’ll be a long time before Fountain City sees two players like that again.

We have 1 senior but he’s not a starter. Starters are 3 JRs and two sophomores. One of the best OL our school has ever had Forsure. They don’t look like much, but their technique and determination is what carry’s them. They have a nice nickname as well .

As far as I know yes. Obviously kids came over to the sideline with aches and pains but nothing serious. Maybe 1 shoulder separated but popped back into place and kept playing. Gotta hand it to our Offensive Line. heckuva performance

I can’t say much, but I can put it like this. It’s TOTALLY different. Some people like it, some don’t. Just happy our kids have responded and fought back from adversity from a couple of bad losses. The players are what come first and their futures. Their success on and off the field is all I care ab.

Not saying y’all aren’t right, from the way it sounds you are correct. All I’m saying is it’s hard for me to see hiring a guy who’s Defense couldn’t stop a soul the past two years. Who knows, maybe a better HC than DC. Then begs the question does he hire an actual DC?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t he the DC? If so, I’m trying to understand why that hire would make any sense considering SC has been giving up 30 pts or more a game the past few years. They even tried to switch their Defense up this year and still it didn’t work. IMO, SC needs to bring in a new Coach not tied to the program. Wouldn’t hire anyone on that staff if I cared about winning...

Halls is a vastly improved team from the past couple years. Defense is tough and offense is good enough. This will be another knock down drag out fight. Just hoping we can pull together and come out on top.

McMinn Co @ DB will definitely be the better game. Just depends on which drive is closer to you honestly.

That probably explains a lot. Truth tho is, when you’ve got a guy as good as Kollie you need to ride him as much as possible. He seems well conditioned also to be playing both ways. Not to mention Crockett still has Davis on the lines. He was a force against us last year on Defense. Big guy who can move. Very dangerous.

Should be a good one. I think there’s also something to be said about the Speed difference in NET teams and teams around here. Not saying kids up there aren’t fast, it just seems a little different here. Chandley is a good coach tho, could be a difference in this game.

No disrespect Blazer but I’ve seen both RBs play this year, Kollie is better. Question in this game is can SD’s defense stop him. Crockett is much different than they were last year, more of a running team. Also a factor, that’s a long bus ride to Jonesborough. Most people don’t think of that as a factor but I do.

Dead end BBQ literally walking distance from the stadium or Gus’s Fried Chicken down the street. I’m picking West in this game because I highly doubt WV can stop West’s running game.

It’s all a show for Powell. All the flash, all the hype. Well folks, Shows over. At the end of the day, you can be cocky, flashy and IMO the best recruiters in the world. But players gotta perform and Coaches have to Coach. Powell will learn from this...maybe
