I know some have planned a game like a team scrimmage game. Was wondering if there was any that were scheduled. I know MtP has one next week.

Does anyone have info on spring game dates?

Summertown is in their 6th season with T$$AA. Started in single A for a couple of years and now have been in 2A last 3 years. These boys have played together for a good while so they have grown close and play well together.

Summertown was down 12-0 but was able to get the win 13-12. The rain was definitely an issue. Hope next week is dry.

Summertown host Mt Pleasant next Friday for the season opener. Who you got and why? Summertown has Jr. QB Colton Shaffer with a golden arm. MtP QB hasn't been tested. Both teams D will be tough. Beasley for MtP is always around the ball. I for one can't wait.

Summertown has had a up and down season with a few tough injuries like everyone else, but we will be ready. I for one am looking forward to this match up

Summertown blocked extra point

Thursday, Loretto comes to Summertown. Will be a cross county rivalry game. The Eagles are looking to go 2-0 in region 5 2A and 5-1 on the season.

It was a great game for both teams. Proud of our kids and fans. Huge win for the program.

I know Forrest, Eagleville and Summertown won. Loretto had a loss. How was the rest of the region?

Cornersville lost a lot last year, but so did Eagleville. The Eagles seem to have taken it in stride. Eagles for the win.

MtP played a good game. Good luck this season. Summertown will improve.

Just wondering, but how do you know that Loretto is more physical than Summertown? I know things change from the spring, but the scrimmage then told things different.

This game was close last year. Hickman Co won 14-13 with Summertown missing a last second FG. What do y'all think about this year?

Any spring games scheduled in Middle TN area worth checking out?

No disrespect taken. Our D is on the field to long. This is a new offensive scheme and still working to get it right. Our boys have fought though injuries and youth. That is the fight I am talking about. Hope we can right the ship soon and slip up on someone.

Summertown may be down from last year, but they don't give up. Keep fighting Eagles.
