  1. BT28 whispers to @Booger, CPA wins at least 1 gold football this next cycle…
  2. If I recall correctly, they want 12 teams in AAA. So the first team on the list that is not already committed to AAA will be forced to play up since there are only 11 teams committed to play AAA in the next cycle.

  4. 80 yard TD first play, robo camera never showed anything but the line of scrimmage 🤦🏻‍♂️
  5. Watching on good ole NFHS tonight… anyone know if they have announcers or just the robo camera?
  6. Their site says dues are $25… Perhaps Boyd will win it all this year, and congratulations will be in hand. BUT… I’d be ashamed as an association to flip the two top teams this week based on last week’s results. Maybe they are trying to be “edgy” and attract attention by being different… all 10 USA Today voters voted CPA in the top place. It’s all just meaningless words on a page, and no moderately well adjusted person would care how it read. So, that leaves me and @Booger to respond. Any of “the seven” that live in the Chattanooga area have a pass, I fully support homers! The others… either ignorant, defined in the most loving way or spiteful.
  7. I wish “we” played them back to back this week and next! But, I don’t have a son player nor do I coach… Everyone is beatable though. It will just take special games this year. There is aways someone a lot better. There are posters on here that are a lot better than me at posting… (this has been my 3rd try)
  8. The future does look bleak, if you like parity, with just an occasional random team playing lights out on a championship night and getting a win against them. BTW, I thought Ensworth looked good tonight and will be curious how they match up. Someone in Nashville will eventually go the boarding school route and want to spend the money to win… then another… maybe there will be eventually enough they can have their own classification. I don’t hate them for their priorities, even if mine are different about high school sports. It sorta sucks to think about though. It’s all about money…
  9. Nah, never will forget Rankin talking bad and blaming his players on the TV interview after CPA beat them 7-0 in the 3A championship.
  10. BingoLong said “The only break I saw CPA get was the no call on the fumble/pick-pocket on the kick-off return.” Yeah, that was a bad call. Just like on BGA’s first drive, clear fumble and recovery by CPA. I think the same guy called them both down
  11. In 2022 we lost to BA, MBA, Cane Ridge, FRA, and LA twice. Still played on the final day. Ingle once told me it was his favorite season…
  12. How'd they get real overnight? Coach I hear is good. Big freshman class? Transfers? I think this thread won't age well for all the guys that started posted at the end last year. #3 team in the state v. #37. That's a big jump in TN. I wish them the best though. Round 2 is how the playoffs is looking for another match up?
  13. TSSAA has made a rule that will make us move up after this year I believe. Just private schools not public. Just search CPA rule. So, Rankin will get him another next year, and then we he's gotten too many he'll be AAA also. Probably retire. So, should McCalllie move to the college level? They have been more dominant than us. What about Alcoa? Why do people. just want to say where private school's play. They already grouped us in one division. Let schools play where they are supposed to play. We would still be back in D1 playing Alcoa but people think they know a lot that they don't... Personally I don't care, we are already in their class in all other sports. You'd have to ask someone more knowledge like @Booger as why football was special and the 530 number was picked. Nothing against your post, hope you post a lot more, but this is just been posted enough where it's coming true.
  14. It was, changed this year or last I think.
  15. 30 points is the mercy rule now. Although I’ve seen the clock run in our games with a lesser lead than 30, so I’m not sure what that is all about.
  16. Nah, Booger, I understood, I was being sarcastic… hard to read through text though. I’m with you Booger. We might both be wrong and watch FRA play BGA or something, lots of football to go… I’m worried about MBA right now, I don’t think they’re just going to run 8 players out on the field.
  17. But Bogger... that SOS is pretty tough. And this week they travel to Franklin to play 8 man football? that's got to be a mistake. Interesting tidbit this app on my phone told me: Gary Rankin, one of Tennessee's most successful high school football coaches, holds the state record for victories and state championships, with a career marked by dominance at both Riverdale and Alcoa High Schools. His record reflects only a few losses against coaches such as Ingle Martin. Ingle Martin, head coach at Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA), has a notable career, including state championships and victories that contributed to Rankin’s relatively rare losses. Martin's CPA teams have defeated Rankin’s teams in playoff situations, establishing Martin as one of the few coaches to hold a winning record against Rankin Despite Rankin’s legendary career, his rare defeats underscore the competitive nature of Tennessee high school football, especially against rising coaching talents like Martin.
  18. QB is committed to UT for baseball. WR has a Georgia offer. I definitely love our RBs too. Lots of very good players. Great line. Defense is all over the field. Typical good CPA team, excited to see how the year goes.
  19. You can’t judge a CPA game by the final score. They dominated PC and were up 21-0 with 2 minutes left. The 104.5 guy said CPA started subbing in players. Ingle doesn’t care about shutouts, he wants to play as many guys as he can.
  20. Low motor but he did play both sides of the ball most of the game… looked 2x big compared to everyone else on the field. 395 way heavy. He and I both would have a lot better performance if we lost 50 lbs. Double teamed all night. The two 400 lb linemen PC had last year were a lot quicker.
