Coalfield kept Wartburg and Oneida and added Stone Memorial and Gordonsville for the non region games.

They are playing for at best 3rd in their region and another second round playoff loss.

The kid won more games in the playoffs alone that year than he did at OS in the regular season.

Yeah I don’t think he ever really got back to 100%. The positives for Coalfield is they bring back pretty much everything and overachieved this year after all the injuries. CF might finally bring the region title back home where it belongs next year.

Coalfield empties out the bag of tricks tonight and shocks the state 29-28. That may just be the homer in me picking

I’m still around just don’t post as much. I fully expect coalfield to throw the kitchen sink at you all Friday to try to get the win. This has been one of Coach Henry’s better coaching jobs at CF this year getting them to the quarterfinals with what they brought back from last year and then adding in injuries.

Coalfield beat them without their best lineman, starting QB, and 34 playing at about 75% and coalfield isn’t good. OS wasn’t good, I think if GB doesn’t have a 3 week break they mercy rule them last night.

Come on now OnB let’s not get crazy calling OS good. They are a slightly above average at best.

We’ve saw this one before where coalfield goes to greenback in the quarterfinals with no shot of winning but somehow miraculously pull off the upset.

Agree with you. I don’t think OS can go on the road in the playoffs against a solid team and be disciplined and composed enough to win.

Gutty win by Coalfield. OS being undisciplined killed them in the 4th qtr.

I agree with you that if they don’t win tonight then it’ll be a while before they beat CF again. I still think Coalfield wins a low scoring slugfest 20-14

I don’t have a good feeling about it but I can’t bring myself to pick OS.

Coalfield is still beat up and OS should win this game but I think Coach Henry will out coach Coach Green and CF wins by 6.

BIG win for Coalfield. That should clinch at worst the #3 spot in the region. Hopefully some guys can make it back by playoff time.

If we were heathy I’d agree but right now midway should be favored.

Cf is just way to beat up right now to confidently pick them to beat a solid football team. You all may hang a 100 on us next week.

I think CF is pretty banged up right now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Midway win this one.

GB big. OS has benefited from playing teams that are down this year. Now after saying that I do think OS is better this year just not close to being able to compete with GB. Region 2 will have 1 team miss the playoffs that would make it in most years.
