  1. LA falls to Cumberland. District wide open.
  2. "Easily" and "head and shoulders?" This is the best district in the state and these teams are only making each other stronger.
  3. Hogeye over Upperman. Knock off #6 on road and #4 at home this week.
  4. Yes that was scary. Prayers for her.
  5. Was a very good game. Refs couldn't stay out of it though. LA makes everyone turn the ball over. Extremely pesky and great D. The freshman Butler asserted herself at the end. Looking forward to the rematch.
  6. Definitely could be a long year next year.
  7. Same Westmoreland team knocked off Upperman the week before, if I remember correctly.
  8. Just checked and can't find it. Oh well
  9. I found it on twitter. Watched it a thousand times already at different spots to watch reaction. LOL. I just wish sound was on there to get the goosebumps!
  10. There a video anywhere? I figured UCSportsNation would cover it but they didn't have video highlights this morning
  11. She left Vandy. Apparently going to Cincy? Hard to follow
  12. She does this quite a bit still. I recall a few years ago against LA in a district tourney game she held the ball the entire overtime and got a shot off at the end. Sounds like a backfire this time
  13. Will be interesting to see the UCSportsNation highlight video in the morning
  14. York, Upperman, Macon all 8aa. Wheels fell off LA at end of year, but they were in the dog fight during the year too. I never have a problem seeing Upperman lose, but in this district, it doesn't surprise me.
  15. LA over Watertown 64-40. LA up by 30+ majority of game.
  16. All great players. I'd take Mason Ramsey over any of them, however.
  17. Not sure what you are talking about here, but enjoy your popcorn.
  18. At least one of them should be a sophomore.
  19. I'm not quite sure what happened, but DeKalb came to play and LA had no answers. This looked about where I expected both teams to be this year. This was the first time this year we went against a team that could throw the ball and it showed. Congrats and good luck rest of way.
  20. If this was in the slop (Westmoreland, Cumberland games), I'd probably pick DeKalb. I didn't expect much this year so thus far it's been a good year. LA isn't as big as last year but physical and playing with a chip on their shoulder, especially after being picked 3rd in the region. The passing game is looking brighter each week. Not overwhelming but enough to keep teams honest. Running game is bread and butter. The running back won't show you anything fancy or spectacular, but he runs the ball as hard as someone twice his size would. Feet are always moving, good vision, and doesn't fumble. Defense is becoming very stout. Biggest win would be Upperman so far, but to be honest I'm not sure how big of a win that really is as they didn't impress me at all. These next 2 games on the schedule will be a key test (DeKalb and White Co). Both away games and back to back. LA is riding a lot of confidence but I'm hoping this isn't their downfall. I'll go LA by 7
  21. Oneida should be fine. Stop the run. Absolutely zero passing game. D is decent, but not like the last couple years. Just be ready to hear about how the refs cost them the game if you win. We've heard that for the last 2 years now.
