Consider me present and all accounted for. Here is my take on things. I am beyond fathomed at how numerous football coaches can skip out on any kind of physical training and expect to win football games. It takes more than motivational speeches and butt chewings to win football games. What good does scheme and tactics do if your men aren’t in shape enough or strong enough to carry them out? Or when the other team has worked harder and they can shut everything you plan down because they are so athleticlly superior,Training to be spartan warriors should be at the top of the list. You can’t train everyone on the team to be in the same shape as lineman either. Skill specific training. The wheels fell off Norths bus last year at the South Greene game. Most will say it’s because the injury bug hit them. I believe different. I think their record this year will be similar to last years. North is just too one dimensional in training and in the scheme of the game. They have changed a lot since Norris left.

This game will be a War.

Playoffs are gonna be tough for 2a region one. After we are all done beating up on each other. More battles to come. But no matter what, who ever comes out on top, I hope they go far to represent upper east TN.

Chuckey more than likely will be in a war next Friday night.

Might be an interesting year for 2A region 1. North beats Mtn. City. Hampton beats Unicoi. Happy Valley beats the Doak. And South Greene beats Cloudland. Seems as if 2A region 1 is tougher than 3A region 1. It shall be an interesting year. These teams shall gain some steam by the time they play each other. I went and watched North play Johnson County tonight. I was proud of what I saw.

Yes, my son did graduate. I will not be posting much this year. I will be doing more observing. I believe the team that works the hardest and wants victory the most will come out on top this year.

DB should be a guaranteed win for you all then. You should swap DB for Greeneville.

SG will not beat Meigs. It will be about the equivalent of them playing Elizabethton.

Crockett vs TN high

In the past four years the best team I seen North have was last year right after the Happy Valley game. We were on an upswing then. Annihilated Sullivan East( they were better last year,but not by much.) We lost a couple of players before the South game and by the time playoffs began we had lost our whole d-line. We played Rockwood with a down defensive squad. If we would have stayed healthy we would have been a heck of a contender for the state title. This year started out so so. When we got the win over Northview academy, that really opened some eyes. But turns out that Northview is not all that great this year. The bus began to fall apart at the South Greene game. We underestimated them because we have always annihilated them ever since coming 2A football. The players just assumed we would be 5 -0 after that game and come out ill prepared mentally. Seems like we got a little more punch back during this years South game though. As far as this game goes, some of those on here are predicting a total blowout of 49 plus to whatever we may score. I am not for sure if that would happen or not. Watched some film on Meigs. Looks like they are down a key player in the last two games and the QB over throws the ball a bit. I wondered why you all didn't beat Wartburg no more than you did. You look as if you have a strong defense. I just hope for a good game with no more injuries on either end.

Thanks man. Not the same team we were at the first of the season. Lots of young guys will get plenty of playing time on our end. Interesting to see what kind of atmosphere you all have down there.

When you train like Spartan Warriors, it is hard for others to compete.

I made my conversations became limited after we started taking injuries. My son should be back by this Friday. We are still down for the most part. I just told him to go out there and have as much fun as he possibly could. I believe you all are 2 hours and 40 minutes away from us.

Yeppers. You will have us. We went from First to fourth in our region in no time flat. Right after I went back n fourth here on the T with some folks out west. Some times you just have to eat the S@#t sandwich.
