Alcoa is good for sure and you might very well need a little luck.I always have to pull for my area teams first . Alcoa and Maryville have brought a lot of football pride back to east TN and I have met many of their fans and just can't pull against them unless it's a game against my Devils or when my kids competed against them in sports.I do however hope both teams have no injuries and get back home safe

Thanks stars.Hope momma didn't put shoneys out of business ! Funny,one of my boys done a body building contest and after it was over he ate about 4 plates of food at an all you can eat place in middle TN. I cut him off myself before he got sick.

Your just talking about a very few fans,maybe 3 or 4 Greeneville fans on coacht having fun.There are a whole lot of Devil fans that understand any team can be beat and it could have happened more then once this year .Like I told BVD today,as long as the Devil players don't read this chit and think they just have to show up.That's when games like AC,DB and Elizabethton bite you and you have to dig a little deeper. I hope the players understand that a little better after those games.If you don't play like our great staff coaches and make mistakes it will be a long ride home.Talking like a card player here now.don't get me wrong ,two pair is nice {silver and gold} and I'm very happy the Devils are playing in their 4th championship.Myself,I'd rather have three of a kind "gold that is" .The Devils have the talent and the staff to get it done, but I won't be talking trash before or after the game because both of these teams have done something a very small percent in the state could do this year or ever do at many schools.That's something worth my respect.

All I can say is that I hope BVD makes the best game vid in history.

Just my thoughts.I wasn't there and don't know how many of the 2nds were in at the end of the game.Coach Ballard will run it wide open with the backups for sure and that's the only way for them to be prepared if a starter gets hurt.Now,this past week was also the semi final and coach knows better then most on how to get his team ready for the big game.It may take four quarters or even more to win next week.

I just hope the Devil team that played this past Friday shows up next week.Last week must have been a great practice to fix a bunch of mistakes in the AC game.

That was a very good KC team in 2015.I thought Catholic would win it all last year as well but you never know about football.I think Greeneville has a very good team this year and I hope last week was enough to make sure all the players understand you have to bring your best every week.

Man,wish I could be there next week but it is what it is.Hats off to both teams and both will take a ball home,just a matter of silver or gold.Either way,a great season and much respect to Springfield and Greeneville .I hope the gold comes back to NET.A lot of pride for this area when a team gets there because it hasn't happened very many times over the years.ME and TH in the late 60s and early 70s is about it until the Devils done it in 2009,2010 and 2011.So as far as acting like we have been there before,there isn't a lot to remember for this area.I'm very proud of this Greeneville team and what they have done for not only themselves but the school and representing the whole area .

Not all are arrogant .As I said last week,the Devils have not won anything special yet.Springfield is a team that will be there to win and the Devils had better show up like they did tonight.Does anyone know if the games will be online and what the start time is

Everyone gets a little sensitive when it comes to their team and as we both know , you can 100x that when it comes to any of our kids .Shoot,I have went over the top and told a guy to meet me and a whole bunch of crazy stuff just because his stupid az was hiding behind a computer and had said aweful things about all kids at my kids school .I understand why you said some things in previous post and knew what you meant.There was no harm intended and never any when It comes to players.It would be a lot smarter to be like most posters that say stupid Chet without worry because nobody knows their identity, but that never was our fathers way of doing things and I guess we got it honest as well.All I can say is today's man would have been yesterday's .better edit

True,we can beat a dead horse for six more months .Only a few teams will end the season with a win and it's always hard on the players and really hard for those playing their final game.Maybe even harder for some of the parents and yes I've been there.For those senior players, it's part of growing up and finding out life doesn't always give us what we want.In the end,it's just really the start for most of these young guys and they have many more years to do so many things that will make a high school football game very small in the big picture of their lives.I can tell you right now that football while I still loved it as a player was awesome and still tell storys about this or that game .However,when I look back now and have watched my own kids come into the world and grow up, football isn't close to my top ten in life.AC and Greeneville have both had great years and nothing will ever take that away,but so many more things will top this year as you players go forward.Best of luck to the seniors on both teams when this school year is over.

Hard to believe but one of these teams will be playing for a state championship next week.Hope the players and fans for both teams have a great Thanksgiving today.although I won't be able to see this game ,as always I hope both teams come out injury free and everyone for both sides gets home safe.

I only know what Greeneville has and when you only have one side of the story,it's hard to predict a game.Also,you never know if a team is going to do stupid stuff or make extra mistakes like my Devils did to start last weeks game.Marshall County has got to be good to be playing friday and from the talking about their running back,they will be a power team maybe like DB was against Greeneville.Either way,Greeneville has seen one of the best passing teams last week and power teams in DB who could also throw.So,I look for the Greeneville to work on things they can control better like NOT blocking in the back,holding,false start or watching the ball and not jumping off sides,speeding up punts ,picking up the blitz ,kickoff coverage when it's needed and last but not least ,no personal penalties.Act like you have been there .I'm thinking they have enough talent and great coaches to understand those things and not securing the ball can make a great team very average and this isn't the time for average.I say Greeneville gets it done 42-24 and once again that's a homer guess.

I was very much concerned about AC before last week's game because of what they done to Elizabethton.Before that,I gave them their props and knew they were loaded all over the field and not just a great QB.

I 100% would have pulled for Elizabethton as I did last year.My mother-in-law is from Stoney creek.How does the sign read.You kill one of us and we will kill you back.Something like that,great people but don't start anything with them !

I'll say this About running for president.No I'm not qualified and I didn't think either choice I had this last time was either.I voted for Trump because I never liked Hillary Clinton for countless reasons.I didn't like Trump either and thought all some asz hole in Russia or any where has to do is brag on Donald and all is well.Wait a minute,maybe I could run for president ! Ha...Wish I could see this game as well but have obligations to take care of in kingsport..You do a better job filming then I could do even though you get excited and have to watch sometimes.Hail,I might have some pregame stuff and you would see the ground and sky with me yelling 99 percent of the time.Hope you are able to suck up that pregame injury and film some of it , you clumsy fok.love you as well brother.
