Even without Chatt having girls wrestling seems like the rest of Tennessee is doing very well. Just went threw flo rankings and Tennessee has 6 girls ranked in the top 20 of their respected weight classes #15 at 112- Kerra Strevel #17 at 117- Isabella Badon #18 at 127- Robin Yunis #11 at 132- Emma Walker #12 at 200- Rose Gailah #20 at 225- Shamia Wells

I think that is a perfect top 8.

People said the same thing about McCallie last year. Not saying Baylor doesn't have the horses, because they most certainly went out and got them this year, but there is a lot more that goes into a state title then just having some good wrestlers. Not going to say the Bros will be able to beat Baylor but to say it won't be close is a little ridiculous considering that they just bet them by 50 in the bradley invitational. I know Baylor had a couple starters out but 50 points is a lot to make up

Coach Holland, I will be running an intensive style clinic at heritage high school the 28th and 29th. The cost will be $20 for one day and $30 for both. Each day will have two sessions 10-12 and 1-3 First session of both days will be technique mixed with hard drilling Second sessions will be review and live matches grade level will be 6th-12th I will provide lunch both days (most likely will be subway) I know some schools are wrestling this weekend and there are a few youth tournaments going on but if your not going to be at a tournament this will be a great opportunity to get some good fundamental and intense training.

Cleveland i do believe is a for sure lock in to win AAA but to say Baylor for sure over the Bros that's crazy. If there is one thing Mr. Harrison down in memphis knows how to do it is have his team ready and peaking at the right time. Baylor has a very solid line up this year and will be tough to beat but they definitely aren't a lock in.

still looking for a couple weights to help fill the first two teams. Im looking for a 101, 163, 173, and hwt. These are both going to be really stong teams so I would love to fill the last couple spots with a few Tennessee guys.

No need to bring someone else in?!? That's the dumbest darn thing I have heard in my life. So Tennessee is so good now all they need are the coaches they have? Obviously there are alot of states doing better than us that we should be more then willing to accept there help. Fun fact every cadet all american Tennessee had wrestled with each other pretty much all summer in one area of the state. Another fun fact 2 of those all americans will not wrestle in Tennessee this year. I love Tennessee and think we are growing and making huge jumps but still nowhere near where we need to be.

106 private and 106 large school should be very strong this year great crop of little dudes coming up. If i had to give my top 5 kids coming up who i think can really make an impact and compete for a state title i would go with Shires, Ivy, Eason, Bowers ,and Dalon. Shires is definitely going to be a kid I watch this year tough as nails strong as heck for his size and a work ethic that you don't see from kids that age. Anyone know if there is a chance he might go 106? Great crop of youngs should make for an exciting year down there in Tennessee

Congrats to all 4 guys huge accomplishment for them!!!! Awesome job representing your state and high school programs. Still could make some more state history and add a few greco all americans

And im glad Dan is wanting to help run a fargo camp for Tennessee I think he is going to do great things for the state. What im saying is wouldn't it have been smarter to look at a calendar and schedule it out a little better? Im sure there are a lot of guys on your national team that would love to get the opportunity to learn from him and be apart of a fargo camp but wont be able to because it was poorly scheduled

And I'm not positive but I am pretty sure like 80% of your guys going to fargo from TN will be on that junior team

Well called that one. Was very disappointed to see the South didn't have a lot of there better guys but Ben and the rest of the coaching staff did an awesome job at filling the team and used this weekend to get there high school guys some great competition

I'm going to make some bold predictions here and say the West wins it, Middle and East i think will be very very close but i'm giving i slight edge to middle , and i about 100% positive that they never have but i think the Chattanooga area finishes last. Now these are predictions without the line ups fellas so don't be getting all tore up. Only reason i put Chattanooga finishing behind all the others is because i think they aren't going to have full participation from there best wrestlers. I know that the top club in Chatt will be down in Georgia that weekend so i don't expect any of there guys wrestling in the Best of The Best but i could be wrong

You would be correct. That is actually the second time he has beat him since the state finals. Also beat him i think 5-4 at The King of The Hill tournament up at Science Hill. Sucks they had to meet in the blood rounds though would have been cool to see them both place

Congrats to all the Tennessee guys who competed at Virginia Beach. Thought Tennessee was well represented with two finalist. If not for a questionable call would have had two champions. Javier looked very impressive in the senior division and even came back and beat the kid who knocked him out of the championship round.

Coaching up North now I can tell you it's not recruiting that makes the schools so great. It's the fact that your going to tournaments every weekend and wrestling literally the top guys in the country, it is the fact that i can drive 30 minutes down the road to a BIG10 school or 30 minutes the other way and go to Navy, lastly its the fact that they feed all these studs to these huge programs and then those guys return and help witht the next crop of kids. Tennessee's top guys could compete with some but the difference is the depth that is up here.

Lesueur is an ok win he is good but no stud watched him take some terrible losses this summer. Palmer beat Latona this year and Latona is highly ranked and is a 2 time champ and 4 time finalist at Fargo. Seems to me like a way bigger win than any else had in Tennessee this year
