I’ll take Sequoyah in this one, I thought they looked a little better at the jamboree.

It could be sloppy tomorrow night, what team does it hurt the most?

I think I read somewhere that Central scrimmaged York and held them scoreless, which makes me believe that York might be down a little this year, because after watching Central at the jamboree I thought there defense was average at best.

Rockwood, Kingston, Loudon, Meigs & McMinn will have good teams this year and Central will be the underdog in those games, and they will have to go to Sweetwater and Brainerd so those games will be tough game to win as well.

Meigs punched there ticket tonight with a win over South Greene.

The East could be down a little this year with the top teams probably being Bledsoe, Sequatcie Co & Meigs.

I saw Meigs beat Alcoa a it looks like Alcoa is struggling so far this year with only 4 wins.

You might be serving some crow to a lot of people.

The same thing was said last year when they almost lost to Meigs the first game and then they lost to Granger the next game. I thank any of the four teams left could win it.

You know that Gatlinburg-Pittman beat Alcoa twice right? GP vs Alcoa in the championship.

You could be right but I see a lot of close games or loses that shouldn’t be close if those teams are head and shoulders better than everyone else. Maybe outside of Clay 1A in the east is a little down. But I guess we will find out in a few days.

I would have to disagree with that. North Greene beat Jellico by 1 Oneida beat Jellico. York blowed out clay the first game and barely beat Oneida both games. And I could go on and on. It’s all about matchups and who’s playing good at the right time.

I wouldn’t go by that. Harriman played Meigs close and Meigs beat Livingston Academy by 52 points North Greene lost to LA by 4. Don’t be surprised if this games close. But l like Hampton in this one.

I see that Brainerd won by 1 I thought Tyner would win after watching them against Meigs. But it hard to beat a good team 3 to 4 times a season. And you never know what to expect when it comes to teenagers.

I think we all thought they would be hosting substate this year. And I hate not getting to watch my lady Tigers play in one this year after watching them play in 5 straight. But I will be pulling for Central the rest of the way lol. I know that sounds funny coming from a Meigs fan but I have a lot of friends over there and my daughter has played summer ball with a lot of those young ladies, so good luck Saturday.
