This should be a great game, almost everyone had Monterey winning the region after they put a beating on Rockwood. But then Oneida had to lose to Rockwood and then beat Monterey lol. I’ll go with the home team 21-14

This is a tough game to pick. I’m leaning toward Cloudland but there schedule makes me have second thoughts. The Unicoi win was there best win, but there schedule is not very good ether. This could be the only game region 1 wins.

I think Marion wins this game, but I think they will have to find a passing game going forward. I don’t think they can beat Meigs, H20 or TC just running the ball. Too many good skilled players for this team to not have a decent passing game. And that’s just going on what I saw Friday night.

No no Meigs is the underdog the rest of the year, just like last night.

They just built a house on the lake and he’s daughter is a sophomore she plays on the basketball team and is the starting pitcher for the softball team. So I would think he will be there for at least a few more years

Bledsoe has a good team but they have been hit with a lot of injuries, they lost their starting QB but they do have probably the best RB in the region.

This could be a close game. It looks like Westmoreland has a good defense and Marion pretty much runs it every time. The question is can Westmoreland score.

Meigs getting to the outside, and Marion struggling to get off blocks as hurt Marion as well. Meigs receivers are big and strong and do a good job of blocking.

I think the Tigers are about 100% as well.

But if you think about it Marion only had a 10-0 lead in the forth and Tyner took it down to the two yard line, but Marion hailed them.and took control after that. Meigs executed poorly the first half and played better the second half. So I really don’t think you can compare those two games.

This will be a great game. I think it comes down to what teams makes the fewest mistakes on offense because I think both defensive are pretty close. I’ll take the Tigers 22-14 because they have some juniors and seniors that have played in some big games the last few years.

I think this will be a great game. Meigs comes in to the game as the top scoring 2A team in the state averaging 45.4 points a game. Marion comes in to the game as the best defense in 2A only allowing 4.8 points a game followed by Meigs only allowing 6.1 points a game. And I would say most of the points scored on both teams came after the starters were out. That place will be rocking Friday night, Marion will have a big crowd and Meigs will bring a big crowd as well.

If Monterey is fully healthy that could be an interesting game at Hampton, if it works out that way.

You know what I mean. I said all year that I thought Oneida would win the region and it looks like you could do to tiebreakers.

Bledsoe is still a good team and I was referring to how many good teams are in region 3. Monterey is at the top of region 2 and you guys beat them short some good starters.

Good win for Bledsoe after taking a couple on the chin. Region 3 is just loaded.
