Anyone at this game?

Meigs, Marion, Tyner, TC, Watertown. There’s going to be some good games and some good teams going out early. Also I hear Bledsoe struggled with Tellico most of the night. I was told it was something like 21-18 at the half. That shows you how fast key injuries can really hurt.

We didn’t execute because the Tyner coaches new exactly where the ball was going, and Tyner would overload to that side. I just feel like we are going to have to pass the ball more to get to where we won’t to go, and I know they doubled teamed Huckleby most of the night, but I think we need to find ways to get him the ball more. Would you ever think you would here a Meigs fan say. I think we won the game because of our kicking game lol. Huckleby’s punting was really good last night, making Tyner play out of the endzone.

I will say this. I usually don’t question the coaching because I think we have one of the best in the state but I was scratching my head on some of the play calling tonight.

Fall back, senior night and not playing any good teams. But this is probably exactly what Meigs needed, but they need to work on some thing this week at practice or it might be a different story next Friday night.

I truly think the three best teams this side of Cookeville are Meigs, Marion and Tyner. South Greene hasn’t come within 4 td’s in the last four years of Meigs. But there’s a lot of football still to be played.

Region 3 is loaded, so probably not.

I would probably say 11-15 team.

This will be the best team Monterey has played by far. Waverly 35-14

That’s exactly what Meigs has. They run the ball well and are hard to bring down. The defense is very physical. If both teams make it that far I think it would be a great game. Meigs would have to control the clock which they can do.

I’m hearing that some of the starters will be back tonight for Rockwood including the QB.

I would have South Greene in there as well, but there’s probably several teams that you could put at the 7-10 spot

Small town schools, good teams come and go. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see Oneida win the region

I’m going 14-7 Oneida. I watched York at Monterey and nether team was very impressive. This region is hard to pick, I thought Monterey was looking like the favorite but they lost to Stone, so I have no idea lol

Monterey should win this game going away. Stone lost to a bad LC team.
