Looks like the War Eagles approaching 2a!

I feel like the Mustangs match up well with the Bulldogs. Huntingdon's strength, the power running game has given Milan trouble all season. Mustangs are gonna line up and run right at you all night. To have a chance to stop the Mustang onslaught the Dawgs have got to sell out somewhere else. Look for the Mustangs to make some big plays off the play off play action. This could be a high scoring contest if Milan can protect the QB. Mustang defense has played very well against the run. Our big nose tackles are making it tough going up the middle and our linebackers are very active. Secondary has improved, but I expect some big plays from Milans QB. I know I'm in the minority but I think the Mustangs take this one.

What number did Milan turn in? Unofficially Huntingdon is 411.

90th meeting between these 2 outstanding high school football programs. The " Dog and Pony show" to me is the top rivalry game in West Tennessee. This years game should be a tightly contested slugfest that rivals so many of the great games these teams have played in the past. Mustangs are looking forward to playing in your beautiful new venue. Our coaching staff does a great job with our middle schoolers. They are always fun to watch, give their all. Where is McKenzie getting all these quarterbacks. Rebel QB was talented as was his go to wideout.

Were young this year, starting just 5 seniors, but look out for the next 4 or 5 years, we got a lot of talent in the pipeline. Be a great time to resume the series.

People seem to have the misconception that a 5a-6a schools are a lot better than 1a-2a schools. I wonder how good a these big middle schools are compared to small school. Just because you have more kids to pick from don't mean you got 22 kids that understand basic fundamental football better than a small school. Lots of years I thought the 1a or 2a champion champ could have beat the 5a champ!

First of all where did I say we could beat you. We're 13-7-2 all time against yall. In fact I would pick McKenzie head to head against you guys!

Historically we've owned Henry Co. Look at the record. Patriots used to play us in the Huntingdon jamboree every year. Couldn't beat us so they stopped coming. Doubt the Mustangs could win now but sure miss playing them.

Still way to early to tell. Last week Huntingdon was barely in the conversation now their in the middle of it!

It's extremely hard to beat a good team when you lose 4 fumbles. Two years in a row Riverside has really hurt their chances by making mistakes. If the Panthers can clean it up their still gonna be a factor in 2a. Mustangs played a very composed game, our sophomore quarterback is a winner. This team is getting better every game. Mustangs were clearly the dominant team from about the middle of the 3rd quarter to the final horn. Huntingdon's conditioning is 2nd to nobody. If it's close going into the 4th quarter you in trouble!

I thought McKenzie was better.
