Better watch the Fillies this year. Talented and deep. Heard they looked good against Collinwood and Wayne Co Thursday at Adamsville.

Congrats to the Lady Pioneers. These fine young ladies have been a joy to watch this season. Coach Wilkins is a great coach. His team is so ball smart and unselfish.

I'm in shock! Didn't go today but the previous times I've seen Loretto play they didn't play nothing like they did today. Congrats to the Lady Mustangs on a big time win. You gonna have to play another great game tomorrow to beat the Lady Pioneers. As for the genius name it comes from crappie fishing. I'm top 5 in the universe crappie fishing!

Gibson Co will shoot better today after getting used to the backdrop. Midway doesn't have the big to stop the Gibson Co slashers like Summertown did. Think the Pioneers score the ball much better today.

Loretto's size is a little different than TCA's size. Loretto's bigs don't take up much space. They need to be on a cheeseburger diet. The TCA kid is a lot like the young Summertown post who gave Gibson Co a fit on their penatration attempts especially in the first half. Weathers is going to have to shoot a lot better for Loretto to have much of a chance in this game. She may have hit the freshman wall. We'll see

I've seen all the top region 6 & 7 teams play numerous times and I will be shocked if Summertown beats Gibson Co. I feel Greenfield and Gibson Co are on another level from all the rest of region 6 & 7. Their both very solid, disciplined and well coached squads. I won't be surprised if they meet Saturday. Haven't seen Clarkrange they may be just as good.

Question should be who's not gonna be good next season. All the top programs in region 6 & 7 return a load of talent. Just hope my Fillies don't play such a ###### schedule next season. We play 7 or 8 fewer games than most top programs anyway.

Fillies were a different team with Fuller. Hey we make that long trek last year and won the regional, it was worth the drive. Y'all over in dist 12 are young but so is everybody in region 6 & 7. Fillies only lose 1 starter. Next year is gonna be fun

Greenfield you sound like you're running for office. You're defending champs with all your big guns back. Your supporting cast has improved over the season. As long as you stay out of foul trouble your big time trouble for any opponent. Young Darby's foul trouble against Gibson Co hurt y'all. Come on over to Bethel tonight to see if you think Loretto or Summertown can beat you. I think not!

I've seen Greenfield and Gibson Co play a bunch this season as well as watching a lot of region 7 ball. This region has many great teams and outstanding coaches but Greenfield is the most talented having 2 players that arguably could be the best player on any of the other 7 teams in the state tournament! Gibson Co is not far behind and play with both poise and heart that exceeds their abilities. Any team that plays either of these teams in Murfreesboro better keep the bus warm!

Fillies had Summertown on the ropes just couldnt close the deal. The better coached team usually wins at crunch time. McKenzie played the best I've seen them play. Had Loretto a little worried for a minute.

Region 6 semis Monday night at Bethel. Huntingdon vs Summertown @ 6:00, McKenzie vs Loretto @ 7:30. Two of these teams should make it to Murfreesboro. McKenzie has their hands full against Loretto. Summertown and Huntingdon could be a good one. All you region 7 folks need to come over for a good night of round ball. Much better venue than UTM.

Mustangs played well last night. Wayne Co brought a good crowd and a good ball team. #21 is an outstanding player. Mustangs are a pretty good team to not have a kid over 6'. Proud of our kids they've worked very hard and deserve a little success.

Tacky fouls tough on a team that has only 7 players. Dresden played most of the second half with 4 fouls on 3 of their best players.

After watching the Gibson Co - Trinity game I think the Pioneers are ready to get it on. Yalls execution and composure were superb. Your point is playing outstanding and the young red headed girl is shooting the 3 as well as anybody I've seen. And your coach. He's the Bill Belicheck of west Tennessee basketball. What I'm worried about is overdosing on great basketball games. Region 6 and region7 only about 20 miles apart. I don't know if my old butt can handle it!

Mustangs will drop-off after this outstanding senior class leaves. Most of our athletes in school play football. Heck you can't get a date if you're aren't a football player. You don't see no athletic kids in Huntingdon marching in the band. Our kids have worked very hard since the season ended. Maybe we can make it past the quarterfinals.

Dresden moves as well on offense as anybody I've seen. Childress girl is starting to do some very good things offensively. This should be a fun game to watch! Region 7 is toughest region in the state by far!

Gibson Co putting on a clinic as usual tonight. They're such a composed team, joy to watch. Trinity is real good but Gibson Co is just on another level.

Looking forward to seeing y'all at Bethel. Beautiful 1st class venue with seating all the way around the court. Big gym but not spacious. Got a small tight gym atmosphere to it. Clarksburg is not playing very well lately so your 2nd treaters should get some work. Huntingdon could give both of y'all some trouble if they can pull it together. We've played a cupcake schedule only scheduling only Gibson Co and Gleason from region 7. Really haven't beat a good team all year. But with us getting our very talented point guard back I would be worried if I were you. Fillies are a long and fast team that rebound well.

Moore- McNeil is not shooting well. She's got to break out of this shooting slump for the Jackets to win it all.

Huntingdon lead McKenzie for 3 quarters. McKenzie came out after halftime with an aggressive full court press. Stripes called 3 fouls on the Rebels the second half. Mustangs couldn't handle the pressure and couldn't get a call. You would think you would get 3 decent refs for a district championship game. These guys were bush league!

Fillies are a much better team with Fuller on the court. McKenzie has some good young players but just not as long and fast as the Fillies. Jones for a 6 footer is big time fast. She just runs away from defenders. Problem is the Fillies don't utilize their speed. We should be shooting layups all night but we get in no hurry to get the ball down the court. In my opinion the Fillies have been the fastest, most athletic team in the state the last 3 seasons and walk the ball down the court. Drives me nuts!

Wonder if you have to play your 1st round region game at home or can you play wherever you want? If I were Huntingdon and McKenzie I would play at Bethel if I could!

Same deal over in region 6 @ Bethel and those kids in district 12 got to drive 2-3 hrs to get here!

Big advantage for district13. Greenfield shot the ball terrible the 1st half. Moore-McNeil or old Darby couldn't hit the waste can with a popcorn sack the 1st half. They got used to the backdrop the 2nd half and shot better but still not great. If I was a district 14 coach I would have every practice @ UTM! Backdrop can make a huge difference.
