All of the Huntingdon Fillies loses were to teams that are going to the glass house. Plus we beat Dresden twice and Riverside who are also going. How's that for luck!

Westview will be a great shooting team. Simpson will be back and she can shoot plus #20 who I'm very high on. She's a player. If Haskins can come up with an inside presence they will be very good.

Great game between the Chargers and Pioneers last night. I don't care who GC put on Jada she was going to the basket. She played with such confidence. Having a strong, confident point is so important to a great team. GC played great and challenged Westview to the end, but if I counted right the Chargers hit 11 of 12 free throws down the stretch to close the deal. I expect both teams to advance in the sectionals and would not be surprised see them play for it all!

All I said was she wouldn't have driven the lane like she did if Kee had been in the game. Cantrell is a money player. Plays above her abilities, very high basketball IQ. With that being said GC gets by with more slapping and grabbing that any team in West Tennessee. Coach Wilkins is a master at working the refs. We have way to many refs that have never played the game. They know the rules but don't understand the game.

I think what I'm trying to say is a ref has the power to completely alter a game with some early tacky fouls. They shouldn't have that power. We need to go to 6 fouls or find some other way to penalize rather than taking a teams best player off the floor. There's nothing fair about it!

Cantrell had a great game because the refs took our post out of the game in the 1st qt. Those drives would have never happened if Ms Kee had been on the court. I hate refs, some teams they take care of and we ain't one of them!

If both losing teams had made their free throws down the stretch they would have won!

Can coach Wilkins get his Gibson Co team up and ready to play a very talented Huntingdon team that he has beat 3 times this season and keep his his teams mind off an anticipated rematch with Westview Wednesday night! Gonna be a tough coaching job. Fillies are right where they want to be even after losses to Westview and Gibson Co. Should be a great game!

McKenzie and Westview are 2 of the best 3-point shooting teams that I have ever witnessed. You just watch them and shake your head. They shoot with so much confidence.

Think most Fillie fans respect and support the Lady Rebels. But McKenzie gonna be Mckenzie!

Gibson Co scored 75 against Huntingdon, 33 against Westview. Westview had a hand in the Gibson Co's shooters faces all night. No uncontested 3's. Chargers said let them drive which they did with little success. If the Fillies can contest against the 3 against Westview they've got a shot. Let them drive, we've got a couple 6'2" gals in the paint waiting on them!

First time I've seen that crew of officials. Hope I never see them again. Hard to believe a crew that inept was assigned to call a game this important!

Huntingdon's pressure in the last match-up gave McKenzie a lot of trouble. Their depth situation really showed up in the 4th quarter. Fillies dominated the 4th. Lady Rebels had their hands on their hips.

Girls basketball is the 2nd most popular sport behind football in rural West Tennessee. Girls can play the game!

Fillies will beat you by 40!

South Fulton is very well coached and fun to watch.

McKenzie won by 24 the first time these two met. I've seen McKenzie play a lot the last couple years and this was by far the best I've seen them play. I thought the Fillies played well but still got blown out. Shame the Lady Rebels were not at full strength for this encounter. They are having to play kids that are not ready to play tough competition. This was a great win for the Fillies but if Ms Davis had been there it would it would have been a tall task.

Fillies have worked their way into the conversation. Girls are averaging well over 70 pts a game. Very quick team that will turn you over. Our inside game has really improved. Lot of quality depth at guard. Can't wait to play Westview and Gibson Co to see how good we are.

Westview will have its hands full winning the district. Gibson Co and Huntingdon are both pretty good teams.

Naw the Mustangs have played this tough of a schedule the last 2 years. No significant injuries. You get hurt playing cupcakes!

No but I wish we did. They seem to have a good team.

Huntingdon is a football school. Camden is a basketball school. Fillies beat tha Lady Lions 71-29. Could have scored a 100!

Westview for sure is the favorite. Gibson Co beating South Gibson tells me you better not take them lightly. Huntingdon's Fillies are 7-1 and are averaging over 70 pts. a game. Fillies have some size and depth and are playing pretty good right now.

Point is a good player. The young post I'm very impressed with. She has guard skills. But McKenzie with Davis is one of the best class A teams I've ever seen. They have 3 difference makers on that team. Wayne Co is good but they can't run with Mckenzie.

Rumor I'm hearing is Ms Davis has a finger injury and will miss extended time. If so it's a shame, she really knows how to play the game. McKenzie will certainly miss her.
