Watching a game at Beech is hard to beat. Good stadium, Great atmosphere, Best concession stand.

I doubt any of the 3 mentioned would take this job. It is a good job because of location and moving down to 5A. But centennial has the worst facilities in WillCo, mainly because of when it was built. The old schools (franklin, brentwood, page) have nice stuff because it was built before the massive williamson county red tape brigade moved in. And the new schools have nice-ish stuff because they are new. Centennial was built in the early 2000s so its pretty dated and you'll be stuck with those dated facilities. There isnt any available land to build a field house or upgrade facilities and the county won't let you do it even if you could financially swing it. It would be a good job in terms of talent and classification but thats about it.

I doubt it, too much academic baggage to deal with in Williamson and pay is not great.. there is a reason why Kriesky left.

Word on the street from a reliable source is that Blade is at the top of the list for admin. I've also heard Ligma is in contention as well and was called in for a second interview.

Lots of gold balls, but only because they used to hand out gold balls for region titles. I do like Lewis county stadium entrance through the little field house thing. Pretty neat with all the trophies and such. But they have zero state titles.

Good coaches don't take bad jobs. Creasy is a heck of a coach but Oakland has talent. Thats wh he took it. They also have kids coming in from everywhere year after year. Creasy/Spurlock facilitated getting talent there. Had it not been for Oakland on the come up, Maryville would have likely won the past 4 State titles that Oakland won. They played Oakland closer in the semis than anyone has in the Championship. Derek Hunt is a heck of a coach too and GQ would have lost to these Oakland teams. Oakland is the product of a good coach in a talent dense area, that also brings in talent from other areas. Maryville, and every other team in the state cannot compete with that formula. As long as creasy is at Oakland and Oakland has their IB program, they will win state for the forseeable future. Oakland will extend the talent gap even further now that NIL is legal. Mark my words.
