  1. That's true, he's an 8th grader. Got 3rd at Ryan last year as a 7th grader, losing to Isbell 11-7 in the semis.
  2. Why does Dooley get a bye first round?
  3. Whoever does win it, I think it definitely will be close. As a whole I think A-AA is much more balanced this year than last. I can realistically see multiple teams winning it.
  4. It's Pigeon Forge for R2. Beat Gibbs 37-34 and forfeited the last 4 weight classes.
  5. Usually come out sometime the weekend before.
  6. This is what I've seen on Track. Could be wrong about it, though. R1 - Greeneville R2 - ? R3 - Alcoa R4 - Assuming Hixson...but haven't seen anything R5 - I think takes place tonight R6 - Nolensville R7 - Greenbrier R8 - Fairview
  7. I believe Greeneville punched their ticket last night from Region 1.
  8. I think PIFO usually sends a few JV wrestlers to Greeneville. Also, Pin-TN's A-AA rankings are almost obsolete due to weight changes. No doubt there will be some tough kids there this weekend, but weight classes might be shuffled around a bit.
  9. Not saying I disagreed. Just pointing out a fact.
  10. Middle TN with 6 out of 10 teams in his dual rankings.
  11. Emotions should be running high tomorrow night. Greenbrier takes it.
  12. Robert White is with Fairview I believe.
  13. Daniel Uhorchuck...8 pins in all 8 matches. All in the first period! Getcha some!
  14. Some of these weight classes should be pretty dang close. 113, 132, 182, & 285 come to mind.
  15. Another option I heard someone discussing was to weigh the qualifiers differently. If one region is nearly full up with 16 man brackets, maybe start taking the top 5 or 6. Regions that consistently have 4 or 5 in their brackets, maybe start taking only the top 2 or 3. Even them out so there's still 32 qualifiers throughout the state. But that may cause some logistics headaches and might not be able to stay the same from year to year. So scratch that.
  16. I won't pick a top 4 because it's all so dead even...but I will say to watch out for Hixson. I think they match up well with Gibbs and will give them a tough time.
  17. Looks like Alcoa in for R3. Half the field is set.
  18. ^Good picks, I agree that R6 is a tough pick. A-AA state is shaping up to be pretty dang competitive this year.
  19. Did I see correctly that Greeneville punched their ticket already this week?
  20. Gibbs and Pigeon Forge in the same dual region...that'll knock a good team out of state duals.
