He had over 100 yds rushing on us the first time we played them last year. We shut him down the second game and held him to 33 yds rushing. He is a good defensive player also so he will help.

You're right about everything but the defense. I just looked at the film to confirm and the 1st string D came out in the 1st qtr. The 2's came in for the last series of the 1st qtr.

We played against Oliver Springs, in I believe 1982, and my cousin went up against a huge guy. My cousin was center and this guy played nose. Do any of you guys know who this might have been and how big he was? Biggest guy I saw all year that year. We played for South Young and he came to the game last week and we were talking about it. I was a freshman and my cousin was a sophomore.

I remember that being a thing when I was in school and several kids died from it. And yes it was a rough part of town and still is. Didn't realize it was while I was there but am thankful to be out of there now.

SD showed against Seymour that if you can shut down #2 they can be beat fairly easily. They are to one dimensional for Central's defense. Central wins by 3 TD's if they are full strength.

I really didn't understand the thought process there. Stacking the box on a predominately passing team didn't make much sense to me. As far as defense, I said the same thing about being flat but they did shut them down the first two series and then seem to let up.

He throws the long ball as well as any HS QB I have seen. He really put some air under the one ball to 23. I didn't think it was ever coming down.

That's what we played when we didn't have enough two sides for a football game. Never played it with a cup though.

Maybe so but I think this game will be closer than others do. I think Greenback wins but games like this can surprise some people. I think Greenback wins by 2 TD's and is competitive until the 4th qtr. Hope I'm wrong and we win by a lot but just gotta feeling.

Watching Thursday Rivalry post game show. Mark Packer and Eric Caine pick Coalfield to win. The other guy (not sure of name) picked Greenback by 2 TD's.

They were banned from playoffs last year and played in a post season charity bowl at Grace Christian in Knoxville. This year they are eligible but had some kind of issues with Sunbright (I believe) and had players ejected and possibly suspended but not sure how that will affect the rest of their season. Oakdale was the team that couldn't finish the season last year.
