Yea I was not surprised that they beat Greenfield. They might be the best single A team in West TN besides Greenfield and Dresden. I think Peabody will improve as the year goes on. The young girls made mistakes at times but they were a fun group to watch. TCA has looked good early as well.

Peabody played well tonight against our girls (even though we played like trash). We missed a lot of lay ups and had too many mental mistakes. You held our best scorer to only 4 points so that's a plus.

Yea good points. Henry County has a great atmosphere to watch a game. Guess I will be going to Paris!

Alright guys I don't know whether I should go to the Peabody/Waverly game or this one. I think both will be good competitive games. Y 'all help me out!!

Well I went to the Huntingdon and Lexington game tonight and I was not impressed with the fillies. You could really tell that they are missing a true point guard. Lexington's best player went for 20 or 22 points but she scored on easy layups and jumpers. Huntingdon true weakness was their post play and the point guard position (two things they lost from last year). This team will get better as the season goes on but they must improve these areas.

Great post! The fillies were scared that they were going to lose. We scheduled up this year by adding Greenfield and Dresden. Greenfield played a very good schedule last year and will again this year. Huntingdon had the talent to win state last year but their light schedule hurt them.

Yea Coach Nelson is a tough but a very good coach, and if you have a bad mouth or don't buy into his program standards you go bye bye. Oh gosh y'all are missing 7 players and still only lost to Union city by 9. Y'all going to be dangerous come tournament time.

Yea I know Mayberry yalls best player last year signed with bethel. But she isn't on the team and I haven't seen her on campus (I work there). The game is in Trenton and it starts at 6! Our boys are very good this year so that will be a good game as well.

I was surprised when I saw that the Jackson Sun picked Dresden third in 13A! That didn't make any sense to me. Dresden will battle with Gibson county and Greenfield for a spot in Murfreesboro. I know they get back the trevathan girl from an acl. Peabody is a team I will get to see Tuesday when they play McKenzie. I know they have a post player that is solid and don't know anything else.

Yes the four players that graduated were the backbone of that team. It will be interesting to see where they are come tournament time.

Everyone has doubted Lake County all year long, crap even I did at some points. After their 20 point loss to Dresden they haven't lost a step. This game will not be a blowout. For you Cornersville people, Lake County is a very tough place to play. McKenzie has won some tight games and took some heart breaking losses there. This game will be another low scoring game. Cornersville 14 LC 7.

This game will easily be a classic. I will say Peabody 49 Waverly 42/35. Go Region 7!!

Greenfield beat a solid USJ team on Tuesday looks like they are just fine.

McKenzie people have been trying to figure that out for the past 200 years!!

I see Covington winning 42 to 28. Both teams will score their points at will, but I just think that Covington is a special team this year. Milan is playing better ball at the right time of the year, Should be a pretty good game.

Germantown by at least a touchdown or two. I don't see this game being in the 3 to 4 score range. Whitehaven has a lot of momentum coming off the win last week. Going to be a good game.

Wrong . People in Carroll County don't hate y'all because of that.

Here is a interesting note that I just remembered. In 2013, McKenzie went to UC and whooped them 35 to 14. This year UC lost 31 to 14 at McKenzie. This is the only two times we have beat UC since 2007. In 2013 Union City won the state title. Could this prove to be the case this year?

Yes they may catch some teams on their off night. They didn't lose much off of last years team. They gave us problems in the 3 games that we played them

Henry county returns a couple of good players especially post player Caroline singleton. They do lose their best player (maybe all time) in Gracie Osborn. They also lose their point guard in Emily Gillstrap. They will have some growing pains early but should be fine as the season goes on.

Even though UC is back at full strength, Peabody should win by 2 to 3 touchdowns. Huntingdon people are mad about how their season ended last year. This game and Henry County/ Memphis Kirby are the best games in West Tennessee on Friday.
