No doubt he's a great kid,and I wouldn't disrespect him and it's not my place either... but he told me at the Vandagriff Duals that he was done for the season! So I was mostly curious, I assumed it was common knowledge?

I love and appreciate the Rankings! But why is the Clinton kid (170) still ranked??? He was Hurt over a month ago and hasn't wrestled since... not complaining, just curious

I think Hall's may be the best team on this list behind only signal mt.

AC finished ahead of soddy Saturday... and when AC Faced pf they didn't have all their varsity... not saying AC beats pf or soddy,but they are definitely making strides and improving.

I think Bullock from Anderson County can be pretty good??? But he's not been in the wrestling room for a while... he's been in football.

AC hasn't won anything other than region... They have NEVER BEEN TO THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP...

When he beat him,he was sick... he got sick at the Bobby Bates tournament in va,and lost over twenty pounds in Just a short time! If you knew how hard he works and how driven he is,today's state title wouldn't have surprised you a bit.

I've personally watched and videoed Cummins lifting, my son wrestled and he would work out with him and he's every bit as advertised!!! He's one of the hardest working young men you will find, from what I've personally seen, I would put him up against anyone in the country as far as weight lifting goes...

2 AAA Anderson county Has 4 Region champions... one over HWT Ranked, two runners up, one 3rd and two 4th places... 9 out of 10 qualified.

You are pretty much spot on... we can't compete with Hall's in a dual setting, but what kids we have that are experienced, can compete... and like you said most of these teams will not put a whole team on the mat!!! But I think in a few years that changes. We have got a huge group of youth and we are continuing to grow every year, we have people talking about wrestling and encouraging their kid's to wrestle,those same people a year ago didn't know we even offered wrestling and or had never seen folk style wrestling!!! Our District duals was televised this year on comcast 95 and on ACTV on Facebook!!! Which I think is awesome and only helps promote the sport... and we want every program to grow and I do my best to promote this Awesome sport the best I can!!!

No doubt Hall's is the dominant team! But we are real close to being able to at least compete, not always but a big percentage at the Individual Region's are Hall's / AC finals... we have won our district 3 in a row and I know that's not saying much, but it's a start I guess? But when it came down to the Region duals we just couldn't over come our forfeits.

Anderson county, it's really starting to take off and grow in this area.

One of the biggest challenges facing some of these teams are filling weight classes... when you give up 4 or 5 weight classes it's hard to be competitive! On our team out of the 14 w/classes through out the season we averaged giving up 4 classes! Right now we have 12, 4 of which are freshman and only back up's/ jv for 4 weights. Hopefully though the kids moving up through elementary and middle school will carry over into high school and fill these weights and even have 2 deep?!?

I know in our community our youth program is Growing tremendously!!!

I can't speak on Region 3 but in Region 2 the youth programs are starting to take hold... before in some of these schools you didn't start wrestling til high school!!! But with the up and coming youth programs K up to the high school level, things will change drastically in my opinion!!!

In case you missed it there's not a lot of information about wrestling in the state of Tennessee... I didn't ask you personally anyway, so you can scroll on bye if you don't want to help, that's fine!!! I've been on here one day and just asked for information... good day.

Thanks for all the information! I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to downplay the Rankings... I'm just new! Lol I was always a football guy,then four years ago my son started wrestling and every since I fell in love with the sport!!! Does anyone know if there is a top 32???
