  1. I’ll take Bosken over Gobbell … ducks
  2. Not sure too many thought that was a crazy prediction once the brackets came out. Bradley would not beat Summit. But I give Bradley credit for fighting this season even though they don’t have much. Unfortunately it says a lot about the other teams across the state that Bradley might make the finals.
  3. If you want to improve wrestling in the south, then I’d support southern programs - especially a top 10 one. Of course I have a fairly close connection to the program so I am biased.
  4. Nice analysis … and I agree. I am a Cleveland fan but want to see good wrestling … so I hope we get to see the Summit studs wrestle. Little and Desselle deserve it. Also, as a warm-up to tomorrow everyone should watch the Wolfpack destroy the Tar Heels tonight at 8:30 on ACC Network.
  5. Oh, I agree but had to find points somewhere … and this is a ranked experienced wrestler against an unranked less experienced wrestler. Summit will need things like this to have a chance. But honestly, this is where the depth of Cleveland is so tough. Again, this was not a prediction but just trying to come up with an avenue for Summit. Heck, I could see Blake pulling the upset here because he is tough and as you pointed out the last match was fairly close.
  6. This is not a prediction or even likely, but it isn’t outside the realm of possibility. The problem is everything has to go Summit’s way and Cleveland has so much flexibility in their lineup. 150 - Zachery Little (Summit) over Tres Schuft (Cleveland) 0-3 157 - Brayden Leach (Summit) over Cy Fowler (Cleveland) 0-6 165 - Logan Fowler (Cleveland) over Jackson Szeliga (Summit) 6-6 175 - Jayden McKinney (Summit) over Dylan Harold 6-10 190 - Lucas Szymborski (Cleveland) over David Demorest (summit) over 9-10 215 - Matthew Tchiblakien (Summit) over Gabe Moore 9-16 285 - Tyson Russel (Cleveland) over Peters Savarino (Summit) 12-16 106 - Jose Cordero (Cleveland) over Jin Suito (Summit) 18-16 113 - Chase Walker (Cleveland) over ??? (Summit) 24-16 120 - Colt Maughon (Cleveland) over Blaise Masi (Summit) 27-16 126 - Zac Bosken (Cleveland) over Simon Masters (Summit) 33-16 132 - Jarvis Little (Summit) over Kaden Rice (Cleveland) 33-22 138 - Michael Posey (Summit) over Blake Congdon (Cleveland) 33-28 144 - Landon Desselle (Summit) ???(Cleveland) 33-34
  7. Yep. If those 3 win again and can squeeze out a few more bonus points, plus a win by Domerest, along with Jarvis and Landon getting their 12, then it tightens and if Summit can find one more win somewhere … who knows. It’s certainly unlikely, but not impossible.
  8. Cleveland should certainly be favored, but I don’t think anyone should be counting Summit out. If I recall, Summit won 5 of the 14 matches in the earlier meeting. I get that Cleveland has more flexibility to move guys, but let’s assume the match-ups are the same as last time with the addition of Demorest for Summit (going againt Gabe rather than Lucas). Summit would need a Demorest win and to flip one other match or get pins in all its wins to make it tight. Plus, you never know about missed weight, sickness, or injury. Summit certainly has an uphill battle, but stranger things have happened.
  9. LOL … I think Guru might be an AI generated response.
  10. I’ll be there. Let’s go Pack! Watch out for Dylan Fishback. He is gonna be a good one.
  11. Shamus might be a Boom Ranch kid. He has looked really good.
  12. I hear Fowler majored Dupill this morning, and with his prior win over Sturgill I’d go Fowler at 152.
  13. Shaffer is top 30 class of 2024 on Flo’s Big Board and an NC State commit. That’s a really, really tough match for Cy.
