On the few other things I also heard something today and was shocked!

Westview didn't look ready to play. I believe Westview scored every possession except 1. The O line played pretty well but the Qb got sacked sometime in the first quarter and apparently the coach said he was off limits. So after that he got pressured a couple more times so he took of to run the ball and the referee would blow the play dead and one of those times it was 4th down so Westview turned it over on downs and the Qb was frustrated that referee blowed whistle so he threw the ball on the ground and was flaged 15 yards so that gave Mckenzie short field and I believe they scored on that drive. Westview's backup kicker kicked off after one of our scores and kicked it straight to #7 of Mckenzie and thats never a good idea. He ran it all the way back. Final for Varsity was 27-18 Westview. I think out of our 3 scrimmages Westview didn't play as well as they did in their first two and I think Mckenzie played really well. My opinion in a regular game Westview would win 2-4 scores. Westview dropped alot of balls but the balls we did catch Mckenzie's defenders were on them. I think they guarded our receivers alot better than Milan did. We seemed to be able to pickup the first down all night by running the ball but no long runs for us. I saw Mckenzie play last year and I think they are alot better this year and they hard. If their pass game improves i believe Trenton might have a fight on their hands come the playoffs.

Unless Dresden is able to stall the game Westview will score 35 by halftime.

I dont believe they are as big and surly not as athletic as last year. Last year's LC team would have beat this team by 80 points. There's no comparison.

I went and watched Mckenzie and Union City play last week and I really thought Mckenzie would roll past UC. I think UC probably played their best game but they had Mckenzie beat. I do believe Mckenzie is a pretty good team but they will get beat worse the next time they play Peabody. Was pretty impressed with Mckenzie QB he's pretty good.

Unfortunately I dont think Westview will score 17 points. Westview has a 4* Qb but you don't know how good he is or he's not because he dont have time for the recievers to run a route. 90% of the time he is on the run and it dont matter who we play. Defensive line rarely ever gets pressure on opposing teams. Last night Waverly played their butts off and Westview looked like they were not prepared. It appears after last night's game we are headed wrong direction. I've been following Westview for about 25+ years and its getting very frustrating.

No disrespect to UC but with them not beating GC but 21-14 I believe its a good chance Peabody will score 40+ by halftime.

Westview lost 3 offensive line starters 2 to knee injury and 1 transferred. QB has been running for his life the past 3 years. If Westview had the o- line they had years ago this team would be tuff to beat. If you can't move the ball and give your defense a break then your going to get beat. I think Westview starts 3 seniors, 3 juniors, and 5 sophomores on defense. They held Covington to 18 plays on the 1st drive before they scored and our offense went 3 and out then defense was on the field for 12 plays before Covington scored. It seemed like that way all night for the most part. Covington is good offensively but they are really good on defense.

Westview is still a young team they only start about 3 seniors on offense and defense. We will do the best we can but this will be a tough game for Westview to win. Westview will need to move some players around on offense or Westview will be the 4th seed at the end of the season.

I believe McKenzie will win this game by more than 4 td's. Westview had GC 41-0 at halftime and Westview didnt play any starters at all the 2nd half.

I say South Side wins this game by 21pts.

Westview got beat by a better team last night. Westview didn't play a good game at all and alot of that had to do with Covington and some had to do with some players being scared! Ty Simpson is a great QB but yes he needs some kids to step up in the tough games and they didn't last night. Westview needs to change a few things and I believe it will happen. Hoping for a good game against Lake Co. but Westview is going to bring it for this game. Go Chargers!!!

I say UC should win this game. Westview had them 41-0 at halftime and didnt play their starters after halftime.

That's what Westview's Coach said on the radio this morning.

They are saying the visitor side won't be open until sometime in October if all goes well.

This meeting is important to us all in Weakley Co. also. Anything at this point could happen with the way things have gone the past few months. We've all heard the rumors but what I've also heard is this is a regular meeting not a meeting to stop football.
