  1. I'm not so sure that CPA is in trouble. But this hire does show how much Boyd Buchanan is putting into the football program. This hire is a game changer.
  2. Does Webb have someone to throw to him?
  3. you have a valid point, especially on the cheating part.
  4. But yet those CCS Chargers are 5 students under the cutoff that allows them to stay in AA which is a joke but have increased their football roster by 20+ kids the last couple of years. lol! They play in the big boy division in all other sports, why won't they man up and move on up in Football?
  5. This will be a pretty good game early, but Boyd pulls away in the second half with their run game and stingy defense. Boyd did beat DA last year at their place 39-10, and this Boyd team is much deeper and more talented than last year. CPA wins in a tight one. But you never know how this could play out the second time around...
  6. Agree with all the picks except the BB / NP. I think BB wins and will not be as close as you predict. Too much team speed for NP to deal with.
  7. Bradley will not become a dynasty. Now they may be very competitive going forward, but you have to win state titles to become a dynasty. Bradley takes a huge hit in talent after this year. Frankly, take away the transfers Kaleb Martin and Boo Carter from this year's team, they probably drop a few games this year.
  8. Not even close. Bradley by whatever they want it to be. WV's QB will have a hard time throwing on that secondary. Boo Carter continues to look like a cheat code on the field.
  9. So now, what does Brentwood Academy, Ensworth, St. Benedict, and PJP II do? I'll be curious as well to see what CCS, Webb-Knoxville, and CPA do, especially CCS with where their numbers are at...
  10. Maybe I should have not said that. I have no definite proof, just very strong "rumor". Take it for what it's worth. But ill remove that post since it's a rumor.
  11. The 3 divisions need to be looked at. Makes sense to make the 3 divisions as even as possible. BA, St. Benedict, Ensworth, and PJP II could move up as they always have, then Lipscomb, CPA, Webb-Knoxville, and CCS all move up as well, making AAA-16, AA-16, A-17. No way a school's that have in the high 400's, low to mid 500'sin enrolment being in a division that has schools in the high 200's. I think the cutoff numbers should be re-evaluated. Here is what I would suggest. AAA St. Benedict at Auburndale 458 AAA Brentwood Academy 466 AAA Ensworth High School 469 AAA Christ Presbyterian Academy 473 AAA Lipscomb Academy 479 AAA Webb School of Knoxville 483 AAA Pope John Paul II Preparatory School 521 AAA Chattanooga Christian School 526 AAA Briarcrest Christian School 622 AAA Knoxville Catholic High School 675 AAA Baylor School 718 AAA Father Ryan High School 885 AAA Memphis University School 930 AAA Montgomery Bell Academy 1130 AAA McCallie School 1448 AAA Christian Brothers High School 1454 AAA AA Davidson Academy 272 AA Grace Christian Academy - Knoxville 288 AA University School of Jackson 292 AA Evangelical Christian School 308 AA The Webb School 309 AA St. George's Independent School 315 AA Goodpasture Christian School 325 AA Franklin Road Academy 363 AA Lakeway Christian Academy 364 AA Northpoint Christian School 370 AA Battle Ground Academy 373 AA Boyd Buchanan High School 384 AA Lausanne Collegiate School 384 AA Notre Dame High School 392 AA Christian Academy of Knoxville 410 AA Silverdale Baptist Academy 416 AA A Ezell-Harding Christian School 126 A Mt. 12. They absolutely do. Don't think there isn't any back-room deals or secret info being shared. How do you justify multimillion dollar facility upgrades and a boost of about 30 players on your roster and only gain 1 student in two years?
  13. You are correct. I copied and pasted this and changed it for how it should be. Right now, there are only 8 in AAA, but I'm sure TSSAA expects Brentwood Academy, Ensworth, St. Benedict, and PJP II to voluntarily move up. Lipscomb, CPA, Webb-Knoxville, and CCS should do the same. The enrollment #'s should be Class A: 0-265, Class AA: 266-450, Class AAA 451-and Greater. This would make Class A-17 Schools, Class AA-16 Schools, Class AAA-16 Schools. Looks pretty reasonable to me.
  14. Increase by 1 student over the last 2 years. Who believes that? Really makes you look silly when 4 schools smaller than you have chosen to play up (PJP II, Ensworth, Brentwood Academy, and St. Benedict), but CCS somehow stays down in AA. Makes no sense that CCS stays down in Football but has to play up in all other sports. How does TSSAA expect schools like Davidson Academy 272 students to compete with CCS that has 526 students. Something smells fishy?? AAA St. Benedict at Auburndale 458 AAA Brentwood Academy 466 AAA Ensworth High School 469 AAA Christ Presbyterian Academy 473 AAA Lipscomb Academy 479 AAA Webb School of Knoxville 483 AAA Pope John Paul II Preparatory School 521 AAA Chattanooga Christian School 526 AAA Briarcrest Christian School 622 AAA Knoxville Catholic High School 675 AAA Baylor School 718 AAA Father Ryan High School 885 AAA Memphis University School 930 AAA Montgomery Bell Academy 1130 AAA McCallie School 1448 AAA Christian Brothers High School 1454 AAA AA Davidson Academy 272 AA Grace Christian Academy - Knoxville 288 AA University School of Jackson 292 AA Evangelical Christian School 308 AA The Webb School 309 AA St. George's Independent School 315 AA Goodpasture Christian School 325 AA Franklin Road Academy 363 AA Lakeway Christian Academy 364 AA Northpoint Christian School 370 AA Battle Ground Academy 373 AA Boyd Buchanan High School 384 AA Lausanne Collegiate School 384 AA Notre Dame High School 392 AA Christian Academy of Knoxville 410 AA Silverdale Baptist Academy 416 AA A Ezell-Harding Christian School 126 A Mt. 15. Lol, keep believing that if that makes you feel better.
  16. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a good day at BBS…
  17. Boyd does not want to go to DII-A. They are fine where they are at.
  18. you guys really need to start looking where DII-AA will be in 2 years. More than likely CPA, Lipscomb, CCS, and Webb will be out of AA after next season. Most of those should already be up in AAA.
  19. Who says CPA or Lipscomb will be in AA after next year? When TSSAA reclassifies after next year, would not be surprised if those two and a few others are moved to the big boy division.
  20. I think you would be surprised at the talent BBS has coming up in the next few years...
  21. CCS could beat Silverdale in a rematch, but I don't see that happening. CCS does have a great back in Boo Carter, but that's it. I don't care how much their youth is maturing, they have no real threat of throwing the ball downfield, even though they do have a D1 receiver prospect in A.J. Wallace. They just can't get him the ball. CCS makes a lot of mistakes probably because of youth, but Silverdale seems to have that mojo this year that is unpredictable. Also, in the first game they played, CCS flat out quit on defense once they got behind. Eye test goes to CCS, heart and desire to win goes to Silverdale. Probably would be a good one if they get another chance.
  22. Game is rescheduled for this Friday night, at Boyd Buchanan. Really admire Coach Bosken for not taking a Covid win last week when CAK had to cancel and for rescheduling it, especially for a region game. Should be a good game if the Bucs can limit the turnovers.
  23. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't matter if you practiced or even thought about football before this game. Might as well play your JV against them. Will be very ugly!
